MAX REACTS: Juri & Kimberly in Street Fighter 6 

They managed to make Juri look *even more* unhinged, holy shit. And they definitely knew what they were doing with those feet shots.

It's crazy how you can see the effort when Kimberly is running up the walls. She doesn't just bounce off them and go to the other side like most characters, she's literally doing parkour.

The idea that Kimberly as a modern ninja, uses spray paint cans as smoke bombs is so cool.

I love how Kimberly is hopping in dance step for her walk animation. Characters that show their personality in their walk are the best.

I love that Juri looks more Korean than ever, thank you RE engine. Side note, I love how she’s even more psychotic than normal

Juri legit feels like the long lost og sf character. she fits so naturally into the cast its crazy.

OK but can we take a second to really appreciate Kimberly's design aspects. Her top is clearly modeled after Guy's gi and she also wears the same bright red chuck Taylor's he does, she just has baby blue shoe laces. The use of red, yellow, and baby blue is pretty common in certain African clothes, if you look at her hair bow you can kinda see what they were going for. He clothes in general are a good marriage between personality and function. Bushinryu as its presented in street fighter is all about speed and agility, strike swiftly kind of thing. Which is probably why she went to learn bushinryu in the first place. She's a trackstar which plays into why she calls herself ninja star and her in place running stuff. Her move set is comparable to guys obviously but it's similar in the same way Sean and Sakuras are to the ppl they take after. It's imperfect, largely shown by her needing a running start up the wall for her super. God she's just very well thought out and I love her weird ass. Even the 80s thing kinda plays to final fight being retro af. God this is a great chatacter

I really love how everyone seems to have completely different paint effects in their moves, it really makes everyone stand out even more so

I'm so glad they brought back the dive kick combos for Juri. It felt really strange in 5 without them.

First Jamie implementing bboying with his fighting style, now Kimberly implements graffiti with hers. I love how the creators are fusing the pillars of hip-hop with martial arts.

You can tell that they had the self-awareness to just go back to what was working perfectly with Juri and then add spice to it. Aside from Ken, she was my most anticipated gameplay trailer and BOY was I not disappointed! She is SO COOL HERE!

Juri's facial expressions alone are showing off the strength of the RE engine

Capcom is really nailing all the new characters, I thought Jamie was already super cool, but Kimberly manages to be even cooler, the overall aesthetic of SF6 is top tier

I'm really digging these new faces man. I hope this makes sense when I say it, but the weird thing is to me the more realistic faces look so much more expressive, like there's more meaning you can glean from looking at them, even though _before_ they had these cartoony faces that hyper emoted. Like Juri was always crazy but with the more realistic face it's so much more readable _how_ crazy. It might be the fact that they're less removed from a real human face now so the expressions will register on a more instinctual level.

Juri looks even crazier than she did before and I love it! They even brought back Kaisen Dankairaku and made more sadistic with that kick to the face in the end. Kimberly looks great too at first I thought she'd probably be a breackdance type character but very surprised she's a new age Bushinryu character. Street Fighter 6 is shaping up to be really great I just know it.

Juri now belongs with the great SF characters, shes definitely à classic at this point

The way Kimberly utilizes her spray paint cans as smoke bombs and graffiti like a ninja is full of the exaggerated swagger of a black teen. It gives me goosebumps every time I replay this trailer. All kidding aside, yo props to Capcom for Kimberly's design! You can definitely see the heart and soul they carefully put into this character. You can tell that she's Guy's disciple just from the attire alone and her background as a ninja, but GOODNESS the way she utilizes those spray paint cans like a smoke bomb to teleport and her Level 3 to create that graffiti on the floor is so original! [correct me if this was done in other forms of media] I also LOVE her hair and the fact that she's a black Ibuki ("Bushinryu on the scene!"), but in her own way. I just love her character so much! I probably won't main her because I'm not very good with Ibuki, and I hated fighting her, so this love probably won't last long. 🤣🤣🤣 I'm more of a Juri main, which is another story for later. 😏

Kimberly is SUPER sick looking. Really got me interested in the Guy/Zeku playstyles. Juri got me down unapologetically bad though. They ABSOLUTELTY knew what they were doing with her trailer and who they were appealing to.

Kimberly is absolutely that character! Like, her move set and personality are magnetic! SF6 is a definitely buy now!

Kimberly's looking fire. If CVS3 ever happens, she'll be the perfect rival of Isla. That new stage, however, looks CLEAN! Also, Luong would be the perfect rival for Juri. Looking forward to those mods once SF6 lands.

I think when this game comes out, we need to see you do a character breakdown on the whole roster. Walk cycle, grabs, aerials, to even the costumes. Personality is off the charts with SF6.

I think Kimberly looks amazing and adorable! I love her style and energy and her combos look insanely fun and satisfying to play around with and pull off! As for Juri, while I do think her moves look absolutely great, I'm more interested with her personality; I had figured since Dictator was done for, she wouldn't have that motivation anymore and I was right. Now she feels a lot more like, well... a teenager, you know? I really like that about her.

As a Guy main and also my favorite character, I'm happy how he's protege turned out to be, Kimberly is looking so cool and fun

They both look amazing and love their character designs for 6 so far. It really does bring out their personalities with the facial expressions as well. Kim's kit looks just straight fun and although Juri's kit looks very similar I think her style was always distinct to her personality so it fits to keep her the same. I'm equally excited for both characters.

The ending animations are sick! Already loving these two ladies so far. Each one has such a unique style.

Something I noticed to, the whole jump in medium punch into EX dive kick thing she had in sf4 is also returning, they showcased that in the trailer. I'm glad they decided to make her a hybrid of the two, I just hope whenever she does have some stuff stored it carries over between rounds. Why it didn't in sfv is beyond me

Juri’s Feng Shui Engine super that makes her ground normals jump cancelable is a new buff for her. I wonder if she has her negative edge low projectile just like SFIV.

As game tester based in Tokyo and currently working on this game, it was a difficult thing to keep my mouth shut about all the goodies in this game. But glad you guys got to see some stuff. There are more!! But won’t say a thing cause I love my job.

God, Juri looks absolutely AMAZING. It's crazy. The fucking Akira nod gave me absolute goosebumbs. How the fuck did they manage to make her even MORE crazy. Not to mention, Kimberly is definitely oozing that new Era vibe.

My god, this game looks amazing. And I’m so happy to see Japanese fighting games adding more Black and dark-skinned characters to their games. Kimberly is even more great given her facial features definitely read as Black and not just an anime character with dark skin and braids. Love it. Also, Juri looking even crazier is awesome.

As a Guy main in the Alpha series and SF4 and lifelong fan of any and all ninja characters in fighting games, I'm digging Kimberly's design. Very cool, original design with great homages to Guy and Ibuki in her moveset. Looks like she's gonna be lot of fun to play.

Juri is fantastic. Thank the SF gods that they went back to the SFIV version of Juri. I absolutely hated the SFV version, worst moveset ever for her in that game. Kimberly is just absolutely dope as hell!!!

Imagine going back in time and showing these facial expressions to someone who and just watched the MvC:I cinematics.

SFVI is doing good shit. Feeling some similar feels to back when SF3 came out and there was a totally new but unique roster. In this case it’s a (so-far) tasteful mixture of legacy and new characters.

SF4 = Devs: "We want to create a new villain but also give a tragic backstory for Juri AND make her a new rival to Cammy. Our fans will love it..." SF5 = Devs: "Ok so that was too much, and our fans gave 0 shits about that stuff. Also we have no clue what to do with Juri in this story. Lets give her the worst most generic super in the game and tone down her sexiness so that the Kotaku game journalists wont write about us. Our fans will love it..."
