Gotta remember jack has always done bodybuilder poses since t6 but I’m glad they actually let him do it as a stance cancel instead of just in a winner cutscene

I didn't expect to get blown away by the Jack trailer but the guy had a S tier Rage Art

Surprisingly love the sound design on Jack. Really feels like you're fighting a hunk of metal lol

One thing I've noticed with the recent Tekken 8 trailers is the view counts seem to increase as it goes on. The momentum seems to rise with each trailer. The King one has the most views out of all the character trailers.

I really dig Jack's whole look, even the visor. He looks intimidating for once. Maybe I'm in the minority, but Jack has always come across kinda goofy to me. The sound design in this game is top tier so far. Every blow sounds thunderous and feels impactful. I've always been a casual player of Tekken, but these trailers actually make me want to pick up and learn a character. That also comes with learning Tekken in general, which is hard, lmao

He is now Full Metal Jack-8!

The little details like when Jack fires the particle beam cannon finisher. And it actually knocks him off his feet shows the actual power gets me hyped af🔥

I love that the explosion from his Rage Art is so strong it sends him flying too.

This version of Jack is really awesome. The model,the Rage Arts,the Intro and the victory animaton where the lenses goes up to reveal his eyes is out of the park ❤️

One thing I'm most excited about is the character customization. I'd love to see Jack with his face fully covered with some badass mask or something.

The character designs for this game are knocking it out of the park. I didn't expect every single character to look so good. Even good ol' Jack is looking super fresh.

I honestly like Jack’s new voice, he doesn’t sound like an old man coughing

Always been a big fan of heavies in Tekken. He looks better than ever and his super is sick. Heck yeah

dunno how much people like Jack, but I think this version has some cool arm attacks. I appreciate how Tekken 8 is giving everyone a great shine up with their moves.

I think what makes Jack-8 look so good aesthetic-wise are that proportions of his body are just right. He doesn't have comically small legs and/or a comically huge head. 2:28 of him standing as an example. Edit: Jack-8 not having basketballs for shoulders also helps a ton.

Can't believe Jack of all people has a better rage art than Jin. Edit: Before more people make replies assuming, no I don't think Jin's Rage art is trash or bad I just feel it isn't as visually appealing as other characters.

I'm so hyped for Jack-8. Jack was actually the very first character I picked up when I played Tekken 5 for the first time. He looks so sick!

Max should teach Ripley how to count to 5 with Jack's Gigaton Punch.

Before I watch the video, I predict that Max is getting big Iron Man vibes for Jack's Rage Art.

One thing that gives me hope for Anna is what you said about them incorporating moves from their counterpart. King has AK moves, JACK has Gigas moves, Kaz/Devil, Jin/DJ etc But Nina got no moves from Anna, so fingers crossed

A good Jack player is now gonna be scary AF to fight against. And I'm here for it!

Jack plays and looks like Sentinel from Marvel vs Capcom 3 Ultimate. All he was missing was the beam cannon.

After being beaten up in so many trailers, he finally got the chance to fight back.

I love the design. The visor brings the whole thing together in my opinion.

Finally they used a new voice for Jack. Also, he has the P-Jack's twisting arm.

Actually it's more P Jack that their borrowing moves from specifically a lot of the drill punch moves that P Jack had.

I've been rocking with Jack since the 1st TTT. It's crazy to watch how he has changed from them to now. Can't lie, I am intrigued with the flex cancels. I also do se the Gigas influence as well with them too

Jack´s Rage Art might legit be my favorite Rage Art so far, Cause even tho it´s so simple, the way the Rage Art is presented makes it look phenomenal Also Jack just pulling a Big Fucking Gun to shoot his opponents it´s so funny

That big canon that Jack-8 wields, is almost like something straight out of the Armored Core games tbh

I haven’t played a lot of Tekken and he looks like one of the more interesting ones to me. So far I like him, Nina, and King.

The force-field stuff is probably a reference to GunJack's longer ending in Tekken 3

Jack seems to specifically counter Korean backdash with moves that can stun from far away. He can get in while the opponent is stunned and punish panic moves with his armor.

As someone who played primarily Gigas in Tekken 7, this is the most interesting version of Jack for me, I will probably be playing him a bit.

As you said Max, when the most forgettable character becomes memorable the game is heading in a good direction. Tekken 8 is going to be awesome.

There's no way this version of Jack isn't gundam inspired; specifically by the Nu Gundam FF. That cannon is just the long range finn funnel. He even glows red like the Unicorn Destroy Mode, while Jack 7 was green like the final battle version. Someone in the design team is beyond based

Jack is FAST man! Even if you never intend to play certain characters, like Jack for example, its still VERY important to see what they do, because youll be fighting them, every character, and every move, and intricacy that every fighter is capable of executing, is analytical gold, and is essential to learn. But yea, in Jacks case, he fucky fast.

Jack has never looked as fun and interesting as today. I never liked playing him much but now, I want to give him his chance again. I just can't wait for Yoshimitsu and what kind of crazy design they decided to go with him xD

Jack definitely got some Gigas moves and he also got some P.Jack moves as well. With the foward twisting punch and the twisting uppercut. So it’s safe to say that P.Jack and Gigas won’t be making it in. I’m hoping Lidia makes it in she’s a great oc for Tekken. Sadly AK probably won’t be making it in King was showing some attacks that looked similar to AK.

Just rewatching the trailer and this is exactly what I want in a character. For me to play at least, this is definitely terrifying to fight against. But man he looks good lol, and I thought Tekken 8 king seemed scary. I love all the muscle poses as well, I can finally like jack

I'm excited to see Jack get a great trailer. I never want to see any character get mostly ignored, so hopefully this brings more people to check him out.

Jack is simple, yet effective. Just be an absolute unit and put you through the most pressure against an opponent in any fight since the history of everdom.

in couch vs with friends i always loved jack. he was so easy to play and i got to stomp perople with minimal knowledge or skills
