“Beyond the edge of the world there’s a space where emptiness and substance neatly overlap, where past and future form a continuous, endless loop. And, hovering about, there are signs no one has ever read, chords no one has ever heard.” Haruki Murakami.
I don't want to be sad, but I can't help it while listening to this song. It makes me long for the things I desperately desire. An intimate companionship. To know someone and to be known by them. I know such things are foolish to want. Things like that only happen to a few.
When you really love, there is always something sad in it...you know one day you could lose it....and when you lose it, you lose that part in yourself forever....this music is the reminder of it...⚘
What a wonderful piece of art. It's above all languages, above any human emotions, and above any unique moments. In the most simple things there is all that mankind needs, and in this music there is more...
“I'm tired, boss. Tired of being on the road, lonely as a sparrow in the rain. I'm tired of never having me a buddy to be with to tell me where we's going to, coming from, or why."
O loveliest of constellations, my radiant stars, my fairest celestial displays, your light is bright and clear, shining across the vast expanse of space. Each night I gaze upon your beauty, as I tilt my head towards the heavens, and drink in the sight of you. Though clouds may obscure, and fog may rise I still feel your presence in the sky, despite your absence, the memory of you is ever-present. For you strike my heart with each zig and zag, and I wouldn't have it any other way. for you, my dear Cassie, A.S
God is the one who is the center of all beauty He alone is the center of gravity and without him there is literally nothing but a black hole that leads to an endless abyss of nothingness~
This really reminds me of the SILENT BEAUTY OF THE BOASTFUL AND PROUD CASSIOPEIA, the opposite of biblical Proverbs 31... Thank you so much for this beautiful music! Greetings from Germany!
I think Richter's intensely beautiful, static, serene, music is very moving, healing; it captures deep human emotions with seemingly simple means (minimalistic-like, slowly-moving homophony). While the music of each of the following composers is uniquely original AND beautiful, I feel something in his music (the peaceful, static quality, I guess) is comparable to works written by O. Messiaen, Sakamoto, Olafur Arnalds, and Thomas Newmann . Might be in some way, also similar to works by Arvo Part, Brian Eno, Aphex Twin, and George Winston; probably others as well, such as Mahler's Adagietto from Symphony No. 5. Richter's music, including this "musical journey," seems to say, "less is more."
@@forestfairie51 Hello Mila, I feel like each one of these composers (along with many others) wrote/write UNIQUELY beautiful music! The music of so many other composers would fit your category of "evoking depth of feeling" (... Desprez, Bach, Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninov, Ralph Vaughn Williams, Elgar, Puccini, ...)
@@forestfairie51 Mila, I think we like some of the same music ! All those works you mention are gorgeous! And I agree with you: I never get tired of listening to beautiful music! Here are three other works that you might enjoy: Praetorius ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-c6tepR0Vwgc.html ; Bach ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-c6tepR0Vwgc.html ; and De Morales ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_6zAGn5Z6S0.html. All three exist in different arrangements. Feel free to email @ hbronv@gmail.com. Best!
agreed. however, in music, to say "less is more" requires lengthier music. so in a way, "less is more" in both quality and length. Put differently, less complexity results in more meaning and more time is needed to convey that meaning. I personally love pieces that follow this pattern. Hans Zimmer's dark knight OST is the ultimate example I've heard so far: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-94TAFSMdkvk.html It's like Wagner's motifs technique.
@@behnamplays Hello Mr. Behnam! Thanks for your comment! I like Hans Zimmer (especially Last Samurai and Prince of Egypt). Thanks for your recommendation: listened to it and it is quite powerful, epic! Two other composers I like for their static, peaceful, music are Dustin J. O'Halloran (Lion) and Gustavo Santaolalla (Babel). Best!
@@forestfairie51 Hello, Mila, and Happy 2020 to you too (I saw your earlier post) and you are welcome! Happy discovery of wonderful, beautiful music !!! Thanks for the recommendation on Part's work ! It is a beautiful, peaceful piece! Let me know what you liked about the other pieces (email is fine).
@@seven3130 i think the girl in the picture is Cassiopeia(the name of this song), the queen of Aethiopia. She was placed in the sky as a punishment after boasting that her daughter Andromeda was more beautiful than the sea nymphs
Can't describe the feelings that invade me when listening to this music...It's more than music actually..It is the quintessential spirit of the human soul resonating through a series of deep sounds and repetitions.
