Max Scherzer is one of the best pitchers in baseball. It doesn't hurt that he stares down hitters with two different color eyeballs. It's called dichromatic eyes, and it may be the ultimate intimidation gene. In this Ride Along, Max takes us on an errand with his dogs and dishes on how he became a pitcher, what he thinks of scouting and advanced statistics, and why he and his teammates pour chocolate syrup all over one another after big wins.

It's actually heterochromatic, not dichromatic eyes. The former is two different eye colors, the latter is defective color vision. I know he stated dichromatic, but that is incorrect.
