Max is a beast, especially in the sand, the guy has a win over Hurlings in the sand. Sand has always been Haiden's achilles hill, Max being faster would surprise me.

It took RJ lo g enough, i thought he was going to be on social security before he even quit, but Max is good on the sand, deegs not so good on sand, one channel said that max was riding 6 secs faster then deegs, cause they rented out the track up thier, but that practice not a race, everything's different when its a real gate drop

Well, Star Yamaha rented out Southwick for testing and practice around Monday or Tuesday. Deegan probably wondering why star made that move considering Max Payne was 6 seconds faster than Deegan a lap. Deegan don't need Maxie boy taking points from him

Ok. I like Max. A very cool dude with alot of speed. However, we get a ton of riders from Europe here in the US but they usually dont light the world on fire. Tom Vialle is great but hes not all that yet. Max may do very well but he will not be another Vialle or Deegan. Chance hymas ant Ty Masterpool are also forces to be reconed with.

Max can't win the title at this point so I honestly doubt that Deegan would consider him a threat even if he wins some races

It’s all going to depend on his start. He hasn’t been the best starter and he’s not going to be able to make a lot of moves if he gets stuck mid pack off the start after not racing and knowing the race pace of the top guys. Hes a great sand rider but he will need to get off the gate near the front to have a shot at a podium or even top 5. I think he will possibly be the fastest qualifier though and if not at the top he won’t be very far down. I’ll be interested to see what qualifying group they put him in since he hasn’t raced outdoors at all. He shouldn’t be in the B or C group but not sure exactly how they place these guys, especially someone like Max coming in. Honest prediction: I think he will get a decent start, top 5-7 and will probably run up there for a while but start fading later in the moto and end up somewhere between 7-10th, MAYBE 5-7 if a couple guys ahead of him go down. As for the deegan “circus”, he doesn’t care about that. He will probably love having a ton of people around him for once and feel like he’s living the celeb life lol

Max was hired to protect Deegan and run interference for him. If Max should start ahead of Deegan, he will hold up the pack so Deegan can catch up. And, for Deegan's threats, we might even see Max "love tap" a few of them.
