i have one and it's my fav UK FM CB radio.

As mentioned, these were derided at the time for being a 'bleedover box' but I loved mine which lived initially in my Mum's car and then my own as soon as I'd passed my test. Coupled with a gutter-mount Oscar aerial it worked a treat. Still have both rig and twig and the radio is in fine fettle following a T21 service a year or so ago. 😃

I must agree with a previous comment.....one of my favourite radios,nice looking and functional.....and I also have the Nentone as well.... looking forward to the on air test ....

The good old Maxcom 4E it was my first legal CB in 1981 bought by my parents for my birthday to replace the nasty AM stuff I had before and it did me proud at the time,also you mentioned in the video a reduction in energy bills,now I have moved from the UNI flats to a place of my own I got the same but for some strange reason they cannot debit my account for my current bill on the gas side due to some glitch at their end all good fun lol, anyway let's check out this Maxcom On Air test.

Be good to see a Nentone, Sirtel or a Super 4E sometime.......

I have one but were i lent it out thats gone for good as the lad has past away and i was friends so i am not looking to get it back .we changed the as then its own mike was just rubbish and got a coffin mike.
