Using a foam filter and filter oil I clean and reinstall my maxflow air filter on my farmertec 660 and Stihl 880 and a green weenie on my Dolmar 7910 chainsaw
Love your videos Kimball!.. I have several dirt bikes & you are correct about the air filters! How is the Farmertec 666 or 660 going? I bought one last christmas for myself. I love that saw. What would you recommend for gas, oil mix. 40.1, 32.1 or what in a big saw like that. I also have an Echo cs800 that I bought new a couple of years ago. They are stock. The 660 I have a 25" bar on it. The cs800 I have a 24", & a 36" bar. Thank you so much for your information!..
Thanks Robert. The blue 660 is running strong. I mix my stuff at around 32:1. When the 5 liter husqvarna can gets down to 1 I add 3.5oz oil and 4 liters and give it a shake.
You installed that wrong. That plate goes inside on the cage. The wide edge of the cage goes towards the saw. Then the other open plate or the cover is used to hold it in place. The way you did it you are pinching the filter and will ruin it.
