Hi mate, massive credit for the way you present your comment. The internet is full of people that shoot first, but you simply and politely raise the question! People should learn from you. In answer to your question, this move from 'Mr red/white' was 100% legal. He did not cut or avoid the taped course. He researched the line and played well within the rules. The questionable overtake is at 4:47 beacuse he did not technically make the corner without hitting me! As for the wooden post, you and me both! Scary moment but onwards we role.
