Now that we've been riding these comparatively light and affordable, electric peddal-assist mountain bikes for 1,000 miles, how have our Orbea Rise H15 and H30 eMTBs held up after all our trails and tribulations.

You two are my hero! I have Orbea Rise H10 2022 and I'm loving it. I agreed about the noise "bees" - the new Shimano EPS-RS1 are much better.

Great video - I just bought an H30 myself. How well do you think it tolerates being submerged in water? I cross of couple creeks on my regular ride. One is maybe 50' and the other is maybe 10' long. Most of the time it will probably just get splashed as it's rarely deep enough to get my feet wet when pedaling, but once I'm a while I might get wet. Any insight would be appreciated.

Wow Matthew, I would need a lot of caveats and probably a legal disclaimer to answer that question. Our bikes have been flawless after one was submerged in water, and both have experienced a fair amount of wet weather riding, puddle splashing etc., small stream/creek crossings, but I wouldn’t necessarily advise anyone to turn their bike into a reliable submersible.

I completely understand and I definitely wasn't going to hold you to anything. I just was looking to know how much water your bikes have seen and I think im clear now. Thank you again.

I think you can dive with it normally it shouldnt be a problem at all. Remember its just an electric motor. And as we all know electronics love water

Great footage! How tall are each of you and what size Rise do you ride? Not sure what size to get for me and my wife, thx!!!

We’re 65” tall and use a M, and 71” tall and use a L. Inseam matters too, but best to use the size charts on the Orbea website, of course. Happy to hear you two will be riding the trails together!

A Thousand miles, and not even any microscopic scratches anywhere. Hmm? Digital odometers, are easy to alter.

No scratches? In our dreams. Unfortunately, Orbea doesn’t make touch up paint and matching nail polish doesn’t last very long. But we’re happy if people don’t notice them. 👍

They have been ridden several times a week since we purchased them and have taken us to places we couldn’t (or wouldn’t) otherwise ride. They go with us on all of our camping trips and we seek out places to explore on them. The smiles per miles return on investment has been great. We are in our 60’s and we feel like kids out on the trails, laughing and enjoying the outdoors together, or with friends. One of the best purchases we’ve made. Thanks for your comment!

You guys are a very nice couple! How come the Italian names to the bikes?

We’ve been studying l’Italiano, but couldn’t really speak the language when we went there. When go back, we want to be able to communicate better, so we’re always working on it, integrating words and sentences here and there. Plus, it’s just fun.
