Hi there 😊 I don’t remember mentioning a cover crop, I may have talked about planting daikon radishes though which are included in many cover crop mixes. I’m not going to plant any cover crops because I’ve planted all of my fall crops and my beds are filled. Cover crops are great in colder zones where you can’t grow a fall/winter garden but many cover crops are almost like weeds and so even though they’re beneficial they can take over and sort of be a pain.
I do a mixture of both. I transplanted broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, and onions and then direct sow leafy greens, peas, and all the root crops.
