Using a vintage WW2 Coveralls pattern as a base, I sew myself 3 different pieces that can be mixed and matched to make 4 different, super cute outfits. What a great way to maximize on a capsule wardrobe and save space in your closet! All four iterations are really cute - you have the original, full jumpsuit with the 1940s style blouse front, joined to the original pants pattern that has GIANT pockets. Then you can switch out the blouse for a pair of more modernly styled overalls BUT that use a straps pattern that was patented in the 1890s for use on athletic corsets. The pants and the original blouse can also be worn separately, as part of normal wardrobe... I suppose technically you could say the same thing about the overalls top, but it might look a bit silly!
