Let me know what you think about this setup. Do you think it will be worth it? Leave a comment below and let me know. I definitely will say it is lighter and pretty sturdy. Thank you for your support. 👊
Looks pretty legit, similar to Wilder Tactical’s MHP setup but a lot cheaper. That sticker cover seems like a pain though lol I’ll just spray paint it if I try this.
@@AARonGoneWrong hey thank you for the comment. It definitely has wilder tactical like looks. And as far as the wrap it can be silly but it’s not too difficult I was able to get it. Also yes you can spray paint it but I would recommend you scuff it up first before throwing krylon on as it needs to be able to bond to it.
Great video Sarge! That set up definitely looks like a decent option to run your gear with. Keep up the great work and showing off new cool gear options.
Hey Z it’s definitely a lightweight but heavy duty option. I like it. And I’m excited to pilot it to the test on duty. But after training with it I’d say it’s on my list of gear that will stick around and get used.
This video was a definite look into revamping my gear thank you so much for bringing this to light. Great job Sarge. Hope to continue seeing ways I can go broke 🤣🤣🤣.
Thanks for this video man, Wilder Tactical used to offer a similar solution with their legs straps but they’ve moved on to a different design and don’t offer their articulating plastic piece anymore, so to come across this lighter weight option was very lucky!
Yeah I saw that I wanted to get one to test it out for a review and can’t get one. I think the Edgar Sherman Swivlah is a pretty cool lightweight option. Thanks for the watch and comment.
Yeah that con is really just me. I want to be able to fit it on a duty belt with ease but I learned that I am right at the edge of capability with that product but it still worked. So I am satisfied with it. However mounting on a molle or smaller belt is done with ease. I just pushed it to the limit. That swivlah is definitely not a new idea but it’s a lightweight beefy option to complete that setup.
Thank you for the watch and yes it is zero wiggle room. But for duty you don’t want the wiggle set and leave. The belt loops do not matter on a duty setup. All my belt loops are is for my inner belt and the velcro attaches to the outer and I run belt keepers to keep them secured together.
One thank you so much for the comment. It definitely makes my day to see that. As of right now I have not used it on duty. Only in training but I like it so much I am transitioning to it on a new duty belt and gear setup for the new year. I just need to get the content done. The only issue I had in the beginning with the swivlah is that you have to make sure it’s lined up correctly when you mount it. It has a big hole and I got it pinched a little when I was tightening and I figured out that’s why it did not swivel freely. That’s it. Is it comfortable it felt different for a little bit but I got used to it and don’t really know it’s there. So I’d say definitely yes it is comfortable. Lastly thank you for taking the time to watch like share and comment you could have been anywhere else on the tubes but you took a chance on me and I’m grateful. So thank you.
I would love to see this go through DT training and see if it can be snapped. My guess is it's lighter, probably stronger lb for lb, but it would snap.
I think everything has it’s breaking point but seeing the owner in full kit hanging and doing pull ups this definitely convinced me to get some and I’m running it on my duty belt now. I have a new vid coming soon about my duty belt. Needless to say I’m impressed. Thank you for the comment and watch you definitely raise a good point.
@@jyerse99 I think it goes down to a 1.5 and the other holes are for a 2. I have a bang hanger mounted on an old duty 2.25 belt and one on my 1.75 current duty belt.
@@jyerse99 no prob min is mounted through Molle and there is no wobble if you use the included hardware. Over the belt you shouldn’t have an issue either. Tighten and use loctite to lock it in and you will be fine. One of my upcoming videos I’m doing a comparison on my old duty belt to my new one. And also talking about my thoughts on my current setup and how light it is as well as some pros and cons and what issues I ran into after wearing it for about 8 months now.
@@AngrySargeG01 nice. I recently bought the defense mech belt. My safariland hanger is for a 2.25 belt. Trying to find the best hanger right now for the dm 1.75.
@@jyerse99 I’m going to absolutely recommend this hanger in the new curv material it’s light and doesn’t cause any pressure points or hot spots. Definitely worth the money. Btw thank you for watching and commenting I really appreciate it. Once my website gets up reach out to me and let me know your thoughts about the product. I really like hearing other people’s thoughts.
@@Cocobrain26 one of my next videos coming up to film. Will be a full duty belt update as well and what changes I want to make. Appreciate the reminder.
Definitely will look into that thank you for the info. This is why I love the community. I however for duty run nylon so I’ll be looking at some options.
@@InkwellFoto that is what I hear I’ve been looking around at Lead Devil and a few others to make sure it fits my needs. I did get the TQ holder by def mech because I want to run a different setup other than the 11-10 mounted on my belt.
@@InkwellFoto I definitely appreciate that insight and if you have been running it for a year and it’s good to go then it’s definitely something to me worth looking into.
@AngrySargeG01 I've ran many belts in the last 11 years and the big upside to DM is what you stated in your video about Tegris. The belt is very light weight. I used Ronin and it is too stiff and heavy. Heard good things about Lead Devil but I'm over the weight of those style belts
