It has already been written that Ryo suffered from gout and complications due to his poor diet, including eating only ramen noodles, and as a result, he is no longer able to lead a healthy life due to pain, etc. In response to a comment on Twitter that "the old days were better," he said, "Shut up! Shut up! Urine stones and other things really hurt!" The gist of the lyrics is that he is angry. However, at the end of the song, when the Japanese government announces the many health problems caused by lifestyle diseases, he exclaims, "I don't care!" and ends with a bowl of ramen noodles. In other words, I think he is trying to say, "I've been through a lot, but I'm going my way, I'm going to rock and roll my way."
Need Ryo's (guitarist's ) backstory to understand many a MTH song/vids. Watch older MTH vids and this one and later and note Ryo's weight difference. He had health issues from eating so he had to go on diets and exercise routines to get healthier and the fans were like, "Awww, but we liked fat Ryo." So this song is like, "Yeah, well, p*ss off it was painful and I almost died." Of course then they eat gigantic bowls or ramen at the end🤣
lol iv heard Japanese people mention that also which is awesome. Sometimes you just have to enjoy the intensity and craziness they provide which is awesome lol. I'll likely never understand this band but what a fun and exciting journey they are exploring their catalog!
