Hello, this is what I do for my clients who want me to give than 100 percent accuracy on a special function. First I get the vin number of the vehicle. Second Ill send it to my engineer and third I will send the information to the client. If the tool has that function .. great.. If it doesnt ill send the another tool strategy that will solve that problem . Have your supplier follow this procedure to get accurate answers. If you dont do this then you have to purchase the tool and find out later.

i have a IM508 and IM608 - both tools will more or less erase codes and program 90% of keys fine , 608 will reprogram replaced modules and move vins, codes and all over just fine (no experience with MB/BMW) , I love my 508 ..wish i waited to see this 909 before getting 608 , however i do love the 608 as it is my superior tool !

Usually ive noticed every 5 years or so there will be another tool . Its better to just order the tool now so you can make money with its newer features . Then if its not getting the results you want and there is an newer model on the market , then I would purchase the new model and repeat the process.

HI Jane, when you do programming you need a laptop . You cant install the OEM software on your device because its an android and all of the OEM software required windows 10 pro

@@AutelConsultancy so your saying maxisys elite cannot do the programming?

@@kreekz The only 2 manufacturers its can do flash programming is for BMW and Benz. All of the other car manufacture's you need the laptop and oem subscription . Im not sure what issue your having but most of the memory is from the car apps that you download from the updates. Not a flash programming file from bmw or benz.

@@AutelConsultancy I noticed that while updating the HUH module, when the download reaches 25% it fails and when I look at internal storage it shows 0mb available when the download fails. Also noticed on my device, it has two areas for internal storage, One shows 2.56gb total stoage and 1.5gb avaible and the other internal storage shows 56gb total storage and 38gb available. Contacted Autel and they said to send the machine out but I cannot be without it for a month. I'm just wondering if other Maxisys Elite shows the same internal storage structure as mine or is mine a defective unit?

@@kreekz HI Krekor. The problem I have with Autel New York is that they doing take the extra effort to thoroughly diagnose your situation. The way I would approach the matter is as follows: Step 1- Determine this issue of the 25% download ( I would log in remotely and record the procedure and submit a data logging to the engineers. This way they can determine if its a software issue or hardware issue. Step 2- I would Install an external memory card ( Once the memory card is installed then you can move some of car apps that are taking up the most memory With those 2 steps I would be able to determine the root of the problem . There was not enough testing done to determine if it needs to be sent for repair. I dont have any Elites on hand to verify the structure of the hard drives but I don't think that is your problem based on my experience

Hi sorry to bother. But I have a maxisys elite and I was having some screen issues and some people on a fourm told me to try factory reset. And that made things worse. I lost all my vehicle data. I ended up replacing the screen and that's fixed. My question to is, do you have a old backup of a maxisys elite that I could possibly purchase from you as my subscription is over and I can't afford to renew right now. As of now this thing is a paper weight!

@@midwestkustomz6350 Hey My friend. Alot of people have this problem. I asked autel for a cheap resolution and unfortunately they only way to fix this issue is to purchase a new subscription. I tried sending apps from one elite to another but I found out the are all tied to the serial number of the original unit. There for it wont work . What I suggest you do the next time you purchase your tool is to book a consultation with me and I will show you how I am able to prevent this problem from happening with my update management service. I wont get into details but there are times when my clients do the same procedure as you and they delete there software. Since I managed their serial number, I am able re register their unit for free and download the software.
