I still have this pouch and use it occasionally. I switched to a Skinth Solutions pouch to carry my Leatherman for awhile. Now the Leatherman with Bit Set and Extension stay in my edc sling bag. If I carry a full size multitool I now carry a Victorinox Spirit X in the sheath it came with.

@@factorsofjack ok thanks for this mate. I see there is a leatherman tool pouch now which I might look at. I just wish it zipped further down the sides.

I like it. It's black oxide so at first the black kept rubbing off on my hands until I scrubbed it down with windex and paper towels. It stops rubbing off eventually.

I almost bought the TC-1. I foresee the cutting off of the buckles. Lol. Its strange how the flap and the hook patch is wider than the loop patch. Thanks for checking the video out and commenting!!!!

Nice 2 for 1 deal. It's a great pouch, I used it for quite a long time. I've scaled down on what I carry since retiring. I've been thinking about setting it up as more of an outdoor kit for hiking and camping. I haven't really figured it out yet. Thanks for checking the video out!!

Thanks for commenting on this. You got me brainstorming on how to set it for hiking and or camping. Maybe a small survival kit or fire starting kit or a first aid kit.

@@factorsofjack haha.....I would love to see what you do with it. I am at work and just showed my coworker my flashlight from inside the pouch. I am funny because I like to keep my Wave Plus scratch free and nice so I keep it in the Leatherman pouch it came in then inside the big pocket of the TC-5. The bit extender and bit kit in that stiff pocket with the extra battery and my flashlight in the little round side pocket. What did you do for work before you retired? Hope you are enjoying your retirement.

I worked in a hot glass factory for 36 years. Mainly as a maintenance mechanic but I worked in the Safety Dept as the full time union health and safety rep for 8 years. Retirement has been great!

Definitely not. My phone is 6.5 tall and 3 wide and it's not even close. It will fit in the main pocket width wise but it's almost as tall as the entirw flap. You can barely fold 1.5 inches over the top of the phone.

@@factorsofjack Thank you was hoping it would work as there isn't a good case due to the curved edges on the Samsung phones. Really appreciate the info. May get one for my Leatherman.

@@rickkerans8485 check out the Nite-Ize phone pouches. I know a couple of people that use them with larger phones and they like them. I carry mine in my front left pocket but have thought about getting one.

I'm not familiar with those mags but you can fit a lot of stuff in the pouch. Thanks for checking the video out!!

No not yet. I want to get it now I have the Maxpedition pouch. I didn't think it would fit in the regular Leatherman sheath. Thanks for checking the video out!!!

@@factorsofjack the ratchet does fit just like the old bit extender in the regular sheath, but you should definitely get one for the new kit!

I literally just added it to my Amazon wish list. I'll be getting it soon. Thanks for letting me know it actually fits in the Leatherman sheath

@@factorsofjack I can agree I have 2 skinth pouches and they are awesome. I have an xl I used for work with my supertool and a large for my rebar.

@@jeremyspaulding7735 I quickly checked them out. I like the belt clip option you can add for 5 bucks. I will definitely get one eventually.

@@factorsofjack it's well worth the $5 I've had mine for several years and still holds my belt well and have never had it come off
