Lots of road, all weather, maintained myself. Not a single problem, great ride, fantastic commuting machine! A real workhorse , strong, cheap and generous.
Hi from Israel , thank you for your videos the only source for this motorcycle in english , I love my new maxsym 600i , did almost 3000km , got used to it pretty fast now it feels and handles just like my old joymax 250 and even better , no problem in city traffic and a king on the highway.

I know this was two years ago but now in the UK🇬🇧 you can’t buy parts for the sym maxsym even from main sym dealerships. Sym simply not supplying parts for the foreseeable future 😢😢 but still a great scooter👍👍🇬🇧

hey Francesco, good video (again!) I'm still loving mine too! i can totally agree with what you say, cheap, strong and reliable! i changed the standard vario rollers for some Tech Pulley rollers, they make the scooter a lot smoother and acceleration is a lot better too i haven't done as many kms as you, i'm on about 6/7k and it will be 3 years old in November. the new maxsym TL 500 looks brilliant, only trouble is, i don't think it will be inexpensive! cheers my friend.

... The TL 500 looks more sport than touring IMHO... Shame, because the touring market looks more promising to me. But, I will keep my eyes open anyway Cheers

It will be good to hear your thoughts on the Dr Pulleys Francesco, when I was thinking about changing, the Dr Pulleys were a lot more expensive than the Tech Pulleys but having said that, the Tech Pulleys have shot up in price now!!
Hi Francesco, I now have a Maxsym 600i encouraged in part by watching your videos. My impressions after a few hundred km's are the same as yours. The bike is smooth at high speed but vibrates when accelerating. The rear suspension does not like uneven roads, I suspect that it is the rebound damping. The bike is very comfortable, accelerates very well and brakes well too. The headlights are not very good at all, something that has surprised me, I have some led headlight bulbs to try.Despite the few negatives I am enjoying the bike immensely and have just added heated grips, hand guards and will fit a screen deflector similar to yours.Would you by chance have a note of the belt part number as I plan to do this service and can not find the number for the belt on models after 2015?Thanks, Steve.
Hi Steve, thank you for the good news. Sorry about the lamps, I didn't notice they are no good... But I'm normally travelling on fairly good road. Regarding the belt, unfortunately I can't help you. I bought mine at the dealer and did not make a note of it. I suggest asking your dealer too. Cheers!
Post a link to the ruasian guy who you learned to do maintenance from. His RU-vid channel. Another tip buy a tripod. And shoot from that. Pull away from your face a little. It also let's people see size proportion. Otherwise very good videos
Just ordered Dr. Pulley 16 grams sliders... curious to see if they will make the ride even smoother. Anybody has info on Dr. Pulley clutches and varios? I am looking at transforming Max in something as close as possible to a sport scooter. Any info appreciated! Cheers!

Hi Francesco, I think you're the right person to help me. I bought a second hand Maxsym 600 with 40K km on it. What is concerning me is the oil consumption. The level window has two maks top and bottom. If I top up from half to 3/4 of this marks, after approx 400km the level is back to half. I could say that I use 150ml oil every 400km of mixed use( city and motorway, not abused at all), I'm starting to believe there's a problem here. Did you notice any oil comsumption in yours?, how often you refill oil? Ciao!
Hi! It's practically a new maxsym with only 400 km... I read some models use more oil than normal in the begin. It didn't happen to me, and max doesn't burn any oil. Changing oil every 5k as per maintenance schedule. I suggest waiting for a while to see if it gets normal, or bring it for a exhaust gas test. New engines need to settle... Cheers!
@@francescometalli1004 thanks, to clarify is a 40.000 km used maxsym. I just discovered the maxsym Facebook group in my country, apparently excessive oil consumption in the 600cc is quite common issue for the 2014-2015 models. Some users only burn oil in motorways, being urban riding less oil demanding. To sort this out I needs piston rings and also valve "seals", this is almost a full engine rebuild that sym used to cover under warranty. I'm afraid I have to ask for a quote. Or return the bike and find a 400cc which hasn't have the problem. Thanks.
