For this one we hopped into our time machine and travelled back to the 60s to record "Maxwell's Silver Hammer", and then even further back to film the music video for it. On the way something must have gone wrong because we multiplied! Uh-oh, from now on it will be even more crowded on the Cavern Club stage.

My grandma Annie Richmond was born two centuries ago in 1888 and I knew her and loved her. She was a suffereget and a flapper and she would be proud of you ladies….thank you. X

Once in a while, when an old song gets covered, it opens the hearts and minds of a new generation. This particular cover is of that ilk. It's a fresh and unique creation unto itself. I really hope these two get the recognition the so dearly deserve.

This tune illustrates what is so unique about Paul McCartney's song writing skill. This is essentially a vaudeville/British music hall tune, a black-comedy song and the MonaLisa Twins and their crew have done a splendid job of illustrating the lyrics. Many folk, country, musical, rock, ballad, opera, etc tunes have included murder, killing, death, vehicle crashes, suicide, and other unpleasant deeds, but Silver Hammer is just too goofy to take seriously. Kinda like the recent infatuation with zombies and vampires.

The twin at 1:35 her hair style reminds me a lot of Jean Simmons when she was Estella in the 1946 film adaption of great expectations with the beautiful mid long short locks and the other twins with the blondish hair reminds me of a woman’s appearance around the 1920’s 1930’s period sort of flapper girl singer appearance. Very good song cover and very interesting video too I love the old design.

This is a brilliant video of this Beatles song and you have made this version your own. I believe the Beatles were critical about releasing this on their album at the time but glad they did. Your cover version was fun to watch and listen too.

I'm a HUGE Paul McCartney fan and i thought i would never say this in my life but you added some things to this song that were ingenious especially the vintage sound of the phone call near the beginning. I seriously think Paul would have added in the original if he would of thought of it

Beautifully staged and exquisitely performed, ladies! There's a lot of wonderful creativity employed in this particular video, including the 1920s film style, the multiple pairs of identical twins, the madcap murderer Maxwell (Dad, perhaps?), and some splendid harmonies. Mona, I think you may have been born in the wrong age. You would have broken countless hearts as a '20s film star. 😉 Leave it to Paul McCartney to write a cheeky little pop ditty about a serial murderer and turn it into a controversial radio hit!

At the time, a lot of people, even some within the Beatles, dismissed Maxwell's Silver Hammer as a goofy ditty not befitting the group. Leave it to the MonaLisa Twins to come along 50 years later to beguile us all with the charm lurking within the song.
