Maxwell stops by The Deja Vu show and recalls when WBLS first played his music on the radio. He said that during that time he was feeling nervous and unsure if he was going to make it due to his music being on the shelf for a whole year.

I remember hearing him as an underground singer on the radio playing Asencion. Everyone was asking who was this singing. Once we found out he was doing his first signing for Urban Hang Suite at a record store in Manhattan the line was loooooooong!!! I was so mad that we couldn't get our CDs signed and we were near the door!! UGH!!! I did get the second album signed though and he is so handsome 😍😍 Love this man!!
