Earl, you always for the most part have great videos. Thanks for your time and effort for making these videos. I’m also in California, Riverside to be exact..
Interesting vid as usual👍Those wheels are basically Duratrax. Many Louise products have been rebranded in the USA or were. Seems like the Duratrax name might be going away now. Lots of sales and some products are no longer available, sadly. Nice to see a test on how they perform.
If its anything like the x maxx i put a little bit longer screw thru my xmaxx and a nut on the bottom of the longer screw the nuts that come in the savox servo package works perfect for it and it tightens it up and wont let it back out because that nut is a polylock
Earl. Try the Vitavon Bellcrank, and possibly the hubs too. I did that along with the fixed steering arms on the Maxxx 1/10, and it fixed the issue. I also used an upgraded Reefs servo. I know the steering links will not work on that yet, but I am sure Arthur is in the process of making them.
@@earlmoorhead5555yes they do, I just refuse to give Traxxas more money than what I have to, plus I have noticed a huge quality difference. Not just Traxxas but with the Losi Aluminum upgrades. I’m in Pittsburgh, and it’s usually about a week and a half to two weeks to get Vitavon in.
@@earlmoorhead5555 hey man, if that works for you, that works. That’s what the hobbies all about. And it’s cool that you support your local hobby store. I wish I had one. Closest one I have is about 45 minutes from me, and the other an hour. It’s funny, you would assume I live in the middle of nowhere. But I live in the suburbs of Pittsburgh, we just don’t have enough hobby stores here.
Earl, Kev T. Had this ESC attachment thing that allows you to pull the trigger full pull from the beginning of your speed run but it allows the power to come in smooth all the way to top speed. It was on his video at the world record speed attempt with the speed sausage… maybe that would help you?
Well it's a traxxas so everything is plastic. Even the steering assembly. And weak servo saver. That's why. Didn't even watch the full video to see that.
_To be honest, Traxxas is literally overpriced junk!_ _Sounds like you have already blown your motor with all that cogging!_ _(Additionally, I cannot fathom doing speed runs with a factory transmitter/receiver.. minimum I'd be using would be a 4PM.)_
@@spike-- _😭🌊🌊No amount of milk in the world could get me to shut up about the truth that lies within a very corrupt company! Your soon to bear witness to mass price increases with little to no change across the entire Traxxas line of RC's! Once you understand that a one thousand dollar XMAXX only costs 236 dollars to manufacture then you feel a different type of way!!_
