Alright, so my older MAXXD trailer finally has come to a point it needs a "serious" repair. Or at least a repair that will put it out of commission for a few days. This trailer comes with a DK2 Warrior Samurai 17,500 lbs. winch. The winch is made in Canada, and it has been an absolute beast, and never had an issue.....until now.
In this winches defense, it has seen a rough life! 3+ dumpsters loaded and unloaded nearly every day for 3 years. You have to image some of those were pretty heavy too!
I've seen a lot of other winch brands struggle in a much shorter amount of time, and with way less load bearing stress.
So far customer service has been great. Let's hope after a few more days it's alive and new! Because we have dumpsters to run!
