I’m having a similar issue. I wasn’t getting but 45 mph max in 9th gear going up hill. My truck is starting however it stalls out after about 5 minutes of idling. Or if I try to give it gas it stalls but it starts everytime. Shop said I need a new fuel pump but I don’t think so. Maxxforce 13 2012 international Prostar.
I like how you approach the problems , international made me replace fuel pump and still have the same problem, codes 3015 fmi 15 and 3015 fmi 17 , and than the throttle sensor will star acting up and the truck will idle very rough and no power , what do you think my problem would be , thank you .
Buenas ... Oiga tengo 1 truck que hace lo mismo no priende pero como prende es pompiar la primer pump y si priende pero no tiene fuerza y cascavalea cuando se queda prendido.. que piensas quesera lo mismo de esa
I have a 2013 International. I have replaced the fuel lift pump with a new stained. New fuel filter and pressure sensor under the fuel filter housing ender the regulator valve. With key on it recycles and ready. The truck starts with no problem. Afte idle for some time to warm up I can rave up to 1500rpm but I drop back to idle the truck goes straigh dead. I check the fuel pressure in the rail is zero. With key still on there seems to have no power at the fuel lift pump. One time I checked I had less than 5v ~2v. What could be cutting the fuel pump power?
Hey Antonio in still having problems wondering if I could ask .I replaced injector seals and copper seals and check valves .when it runs its very weak now rt when we start it up .
First thing that I will check is the high side low pressure, if that it’s ok, check for Dpf exhaust clogged up, also check for boost leaks, also check the suction hose from the pump to the tanks that is not sucking air
