Now if we are speaking biblical standards then.the Word of GOD to Adam was to protect provide and love. Ephesians 5 I believe is a great weapon for a godly marriage. I agree with the comment regarding the mentality of white men vs black men. They are taught to be the providers, and derive great pleasure in being able to do so. Boaz said, whose damsel is this? Why, because he knew some man was responsible for her. He was curious because she was providing for herself, which she was not supposed to be doing. And being the Man he was, begin "Providing" and taking care of her before he even knew she would be his wife.
Interesting..........some things were valid and some weren't biblical. The man is the provider!! Being the head, and loving & cherishing the wife God has given should make a man give her anything within his power to give. We have to keep the world's view out of Godly relationships. Husbands love your wives as Christ has loved the church and gave himself for it ......Ephesians 5:25.

No not a slave but be willing to be the woman HE needs remember God made man first and realized he need a HELPER 👈... BE HONEST is it easy to love someone that's being unwilling(submisive)....hmm

I agree, "loving" and "reverencing" each other will make love abound all the more. When we are in alignment with God's word, then we see the beauty of life and experience the love that God intended. I'm praying for the brethren, our families, our relationships. We just celebrated the Black Panther movie and what it stood for. It's time for us to be that community for real and for the brethren to stand in their God given place. Bro Patton, when the men are in order, the head, leading and following God, the women always submit and follow. Our families are blessed because of it.
