I'm starting to think that not having a car is a big downfall to wanting to see a lot of gigs, some I'm going to at the end of this month and early next month are costing me way more with the train and hotel prices than they are to even attend the event 😑But as long as I have a good time, I guess haha. Almost every gig and fest I'm going to it has to be alone which is scary.. but I'll do it. Some of these gigs in your video are so small and intimate it's nice to see.
Basically, not having a car if you don't live in the city the gig is happening sucks and apart from the normal car expenses, fuel and parking aren't much Especially if you know the free parking spaces or cheap ones. Yeah, train then having to get a hotel just puts the cost up so much. Being alone at a show is scary but might end up making friends and gig buddies Yeah, I do alot of small show. Rarely go to arena shows or Academy level shows
@@serenakathryne That's the unfortunate thing.. I've never lived in any places any gigs are happening, every single one I've ever gone to I've had to travel. And most of the gigs I'm going to are smaller independent ones but I've never seen crowds as small as the ones in your video, again though it's nice to see!
