Great video. I'm just watching this cos i'm hungry for arctangent festival as i'm going this year, i'm also doing bloodstock as well. Going solo to ATG but with my wife to bloodstock. I'm thinking of doing some vlogging content this year, i find it a bit awkward, i'm ok with doing my regular chanel stuff but vlogging seems tricky, i also need to get better as i'm currently recovering from cellulitus and recently just got over sciatica 😅, i'm also doing stone dead fest, i don't know how i'm gonna do it all. I'm 51 😂😂.
@@serenakathryne yeah thanks, i've started watching that, that gimble thing looks good cos my camera footage is very shaky sometimes. Can't wait for festival season
Thanks for the very honest take! Not every event can be a hit 100% of the time and its refreshing to watch your videos and it not just be a group of lads getting fucked up the whole time (don't get me wrong I like those vids too haha). Hope you enjoy the rest of festival season and may the festival gods bless us with sunshine for Treeeeeessssss!
I thought this was a comfy and nice vlog to watch! I"m also an autistic woman and you did pretty well for all that noise, crowd and terrible weather/mud. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have a meltdown with all the mud and wouldn't just hidden in my tent the whole time <33
What kind of job do you have and when do you work. These festivals can't be cheap. I work a 40 hr job and make good money but with house payment car payment utilities I couldn't afford to go to all these festivals.
Awww the dudes your with aren't there usually selves at this one!! And you spent most of it on your own!! Bless ya I will join you next time girl and we will have a great time sober and a nice little sleepover 😂 xx
I loved the Hanabie album last year, super jealous you got to see them. Don't be disappointed in the vlog, I enjoyed it as always. You showed your own honest personal experience. You didn't dress it up and pretend that everything about the weekend was perfect. Hopefully see you at 2000Trees!
I loved going to Download on my own, in my tent on my own, going to see just the bands I wanted on my own <3 I love being able to self-regulate without having to be overwhelmed by other people :)
Apparently a load of camping shops didn't even realise until a few months ago. I have a friend that works in a certain UK camp shop that actually emailed head office asking whether they should still have it on the shop floor lol 🤣
Firstly I love your festival videos! Your thought process for packing is so similar to mine. I used to have the nickname festy mum as i would have anything you could possibly need for 5 days. I even cooked breakfast once for over 30 people with contraband gas stoves and mess tins. I hope you have a fantastic time! To the people commenting negatively you have the option to keep this to yourself and going forward I'd recommend doing that!
Thank you! and I also have that as well cause would have something for everyone if they missed it. You also need someone to be festival mum! Also, that is a feat cooking breakfast for 30 so good on you!
I have never seen that toilet thing before - what an idea! We've bought a tiny little fold up table this year to add to the collection and I'm looking forward to not having to worry about kicking my drinks over XD
For people who comment I pack too much. I am autistic and have chronic illness I need to account for. I pack for my needs for camping in general camping. You should NEVER comment and shame people for what they pack for a festival, everyone is different and they pack for what they need. You have no idea if someone has chronic illness they need to account for. So don't judge. Festivals are far from what they used to be and if people want comfort while away for 5 days on holiday that's their choice, same if you are happy sleeping in a 2 man tent on the floor. I'm not gong to sit here and comment you take too little. Don't shame, don't judge.
Well said. I'm watching this to budget for arctangent next year (already got tickets 😊) so I'll be using your guide and adjusting appropriately. I am neuro divergent and I have asthma. So making sure I keep warm is one for me. We're all different ❤️ hope you had a nice time at download
Cute cute cute - and you're right Slam Dunk definitely has a plaid vibe! I was there last year debuting my own home-made granny square two-piece - bit left field for a punk fest but I loved it! Won't be there this year as doing Portals Festival instead, but have a fab time - looking forward to everyone's insight afterwards (and to know whether or not they fixed the shit show that was last year!)
For decent and warm sleeping bags. Have a look at 5 season fishing sleeping bags. I go fishing when its snowy and icey and am super super toasty in mine.
