On the flipsyde though, knowing that what you're saying/doing could get you harmed or arrested would also make someone want to hide their face. However, the fact that they have - from the very beginning - been extremely opposed to being recorded or giving any statements on anything settles it for me. That's not how protesting against something works, lol... The whole point of a protest is to increase awareness about the things you believe to be bad as well as what you believe to be the solutions, so I find it hard to believe THEY even (fully) believe they're the good guys.

Anarchy is a belief. Violence is way more than that. Violence hurts people in every way, shape, and form.
