The problem with the new Top Gear is how the show is currently carried only by the crew and not the presenter. The way it was filmed is definitely better than the old one, but the presenters are just so mediocre. It's like watching a regular car RU-vidr like doug demuro, jay leno, or Mike Fernie from drivetribe but with bigger production value.
I don't know, Chris Evens's lot were crap but I think Flintoff and co are decent. Nothing compared to hammond, may and clarkson but pretty good in their own right.
The current crew are alright, I think. They have a different chemistry than these three, but I enjoy watching them. They just need a bit more of the races (when that is possible again) and the (competive) building projects. That would make it better IMO.

The interesting thing about the poppy scene is they HAD to put that disclaimer in because you know Mr Angry From Tonbridge Wells would have written in and complained that they didn't wear one for five minutes during the spisode.

What episode is 1:07 from? I’m stuck with Amazon Prime’s butchered version of the show here in the US, infuriatingly. It’s possible that whole film was cut.
for the Australia special there was a story about Hammond's Bently costing something like $125k to repair after making that episode... so if you look at it from a cost-to-performance perspective... ambitious but rubbish.
@@JetFalcon710 let me correct my statement... Bentley claimed they lost about 50% of the value of the car after the filming. So they felt that half the overt value was either lost or required to bring it back to show-room condition.
