🦄 If you are going to continue your Miss Marple reads, I have 2 suggestions. 1. Sleeping Murder is one of my favourites and a quintessential Miss Marple adventure. 2. In what ever order you are reading them in, read Nemesis last. It is a great wrap up to the series and feels like it is an ending for Miss Marple’s days as a detective.

Most lists put Sleeping Murder last cause it was the last one published but Christie actually wrote it during WWII so chronologically it comes way earlier. Nemesis is the last one she actually wrote.

🦄 I have not had a 5 star book that has given me that hug from a book feeling in a while. I've read several good ones though. Sometimes you just chase the high! Lol

🦄 I read 8 books in May. Favourites were The Sisters by Claire Douglas Murder in the Vicarage by Agatha Christie Least favourites were The House Keeper by Valerie Keogh The Dinner Guest by D.P Walter

@@ReadingNymph me too ☺ funny thing is I found the episode of the same name on Britbox the same day I finished reading it. It was slightly different from the books but I enjoyed it.

🦄 Wonderful reading month for you despite how many other activities needed to be done! I’m breaking up my fantasy reads this month with the 2 Benjamin Stevenson murder mystery books-I hope they’re as funny as they sound. Also the newest Marlow Murder Club mystery is being released this week-more Judith! Can’t wait.

@@ReadingNymph Spoilers!!! Everyone in my family etc kept me reading all day yesterday. Some plotholes like those boys not being able to get out of their car seats/car themselves at their ages and a coroner placing another body in a policeman’s casket!? Also an authority figure as villain was used by Agatha Christie a few times so that’s an old trope. But it kept me reading all day long yesterday well into the night. So that’s a huge positive!

I read Annihilation in May as well. I'm still not sure what I think. I do want to continue the series. I do think I retain more when reading physically, however buddy reading audiobooks has helped me retain more of those reads. Daughter of the Forest is a book I would like to get to at some point. I didn't realize it had dark undertones. That's exciting. I need to get to Godkiller as well. Too many books so little time. Glad you had a good reading month love!
