Looked like a cool and cozy hostel. That weather seems to be going from one extreme to the next. You always have your days and goals nicely planned, but you can roll with the punches as well. That slug on the tree made me laugh. My husband and I did the Presis last summer and it rained nearly every day. Seemed like every tree I grasped on the way down those death boulders had a gross slug on it. Good times…..lol

You might have done this already, but I don’t recall seeing it. Just for kicks if you get your camera working again, put it on Leo and let’s see what the trail looks like from us viewpoint. Might not be able to watch it for more than a minute or two, but I bet it’s gonna be fun if you could make it happen.

Still can't believe that Stick went 1,465 miles on ONE pair of Topo Traverses. Got them at Mountain Crossings, mile 31, and finally got the new pair in Falls River, CT, mile 1496! He really needed them prior to the PA rocks, but couldn't find his size. Still, though, one pair for 1465 miles is crazy.
