@JoesPatch
👍🙂🌱 Cheers for the update. Those tomatoes do sound interesting 🍅. Look forward to seeing them 🍅
@EmoNinjaKat89
Great video! I would say plant the brassica bed if you have the room for it.
@PetalsonthePavingSlabs
loving how youve got those cucamelons dotted around👍
@myrustygarden
Oh come on why no half naked roofers 😂😂 oh right a gardening channel 🤦🏼‍♀️. Lovely to see sunshine for a change Arran. Wow what cute apple babies, my cucamelons look floppy too but hopefully they do well. If you have room tuck them away in a corner spot. Lots growing Arran and you have foot some amazing crops on the way. We did not get to see the lights 😢. Have an amazing weekend Arran, Ali 🌞🇨🇦

I'd recommend some small cabbages" greyhound" or " primo" for coleslaw .You could start off calabrese in pots and plant up when the garlic come out .

Hi Arran, it's good to see the polytunnel filling up. I have been experimenting with taking side shoots from February sown tomato plants and so far had 100% success. This might be one way of getting reliable plants, but also because if you like to grow a lot of a particular type the seeds that are expensive (for an allotment situation maybe) this could be a way to save a bit on seeds. I like to grow Sungold F1 which are normally almost £5 (though last year I bought some on special offer at T&M for 99p) and you only get 8 seeds in a packet. I am going to try and overwinter a few of the different varieties I have grown this year, mainly for amusement and something to aim for towards next year, when I will put the plants into an area of warmth and light to stimulate them out of dormancy. I know some people do this with tiny tomatoes or the Red Robin type and grow them all year indoors with a decorative grow light heated propagator setup. I couldn't afford the expense of the purpose made grow lights, so I ordered some low-profile downlights with the right lighting qualities (just under £30 for 6), and I set them up on a length of white plastic and use them over one of those 7 cell tray window propagators you can get on Amazon, and it worked better than others I have seen, with some tomato seedlings that germinated and grew stocky and strong. There's always something interesting to try in this game. Thanks for the video. X
