Yes it's true Carina, she doesn't have a ring but it's because being a doctor she would have to take it off and put it back on every time she operates and it would be uncomfortable. For this reason, most of the time Carina doesn't wear the ring on her finger and only for convenience and practicality. It doesn't mean she doesn't love Maya anymore, even if it will be some time before they get back together. Maya has to regain Carina's trust and show her that she is really struggling to change and improve. Maya, now she's getting the help she needs she can do it, let's give her some time. Carina just needs to give her some confidence but she's been in a lot of pain and she's afraid Maya can't really change. Callie and Arizona wore wedding rings around their necks. For the same reason.

@@laurafaustini4567 Yeah it's very normal for carina to not wear her ring because she's a doctor and calzona wore their rings on their scrubs I'm pretty sure they had matching necklaces but it wasn't their rings that they wore around their necks but either way it's very cute.

I can see what’s coming already…lolo I hate to say it but the word divorce enters my mind. Producers of these shows always end things between LGBTQ+ couples one way or another with one of the parties being killed off I.e. as in “bury your gays trope” which started with CLEXA in the 100 or things end in divorce. Look at Sophie and Sian, Sophie and Jenna, Sophie and Paula and Sophie and Maddie; CORONATION STREET. Look at Charity and Vanessa; EMMERDALE, Look at Sara and Ava; DC’s LEGENDS, Look at Nicole and Maia, Nicole and Harper and now Nicole and Maeve; SHORTLAND STREET (NEW ZEALAND). I don’t think that any on screen LGBTQ+ couple I’ve seen in the last 9 years have been allowed a HAPPY relationship
