always somebody complaining about a dj, the track selection, the gear (controllers, laptops, cdjs, turntables, etc), the style of mixing, the energy, people's reactions, the audio, the video, the dancing or not dancing, how somebody moves or dresses or smokes or drinks or whatever. a society of anonymous bitching and trolling. instead of bashing, go out and do it yourself if you can't just enjoy the moment. smh
so true, i love it! big up antigua in the background i see you ;) by the way, the new 24/7 House music Live stream is live on my channel now. Lots of classic underground tracks. only if you like... peace out! :) /watch?v=I217hjx1TMg
thats because theres not exactly a lot of good musicians making their own style and sound these days. Lots of music, most of it is just everyone copying each other with slight variations.

It's not about getting a load of tracks into an hours slot you spastic, it's about good mixing, good track choice and letting you be able to get into it. I saw fatboy slim and he changed track like every minute and it was shite. Sets aren't about hearing as many tunes as possible
emmetdougan93 Dude... The tracks were good, the mixing was fine but nothing special. DJing is about track selection, transitions AND an essential part of mixing and the skill in it is choosing the right tracks when and trying to mix a certain number in. Obviously this is a lot more chilled set but she's arguably one of the best deep house DJ/producers in the world and 18 songs in an hour is not exactly superb. Even increasing it by 2 tracks would make an incredible difference AND she can pull it off. Furthermore, Fatboy Slim is amazing and your retort is weak if you have to call me a spastic to try and render my argument stupid. Your argument is hence, invalid.

I sporadically come to this set (as well as others) to clear my head. The music definitely assists in other areas far beyond the dance floor. Props to Maya and BR for the continuation of good vibes!! 👌🏾

2017 and i cant get enough of the intro and the outro, this was the first time i heard Maya Jane Coles mix as im more of a uk Garage head, was hooked from the first mix to the last! also re-watching so i can better myself as a DJ
Don't people get down to good music any more>?? Lovely set Maya, Nice one Boiler room crew , Look into getting people who feel and love good music...Leave the posers at the shopping mall...
I'm from the old skool house music era I thought she did a great job overall! I feel her set was wasted on the lack of energy...ugghhh...if she were spinning at one of the clubs in the Chi back in the day the floor would be jumping!
that is such a sick set. any set at boiler room seems kinda wasted on the camera friendly groupie hipster crowd. lucky they record it for us to enjoy ;-)
Literally bounced so hard to 16 Bit Lolitas set (very near this style) last weekend downtown Chicago. Seriously so good. Whole crowd vibes were through the roof. The groove is not lost....but yeah if i were in that room, I would be jammin so hard.
***** You find this with allot of the boiler room sets, its as if they only invite there safe friends who don't appear to know how to enjoy or let them self's go. Good music but I wouldn't want to be there with that load of dullards
That was a really good set! The only thing that didnt mix here is the miserable crowd! > You can have 5 billion effect blocks, but it would still suck if the tracks werent picked correctly - she did a great job at this. In other words she is mixing in key. This is quite undervalued these days as many djs just drop any shit in. There could have been more energy building, but overall i loved this set very much. Keep going girl!
Thank y maya underground music peace and love unity forever inshallah in the world freedom forever big up house underground good mix and Good vibes good music original underground house music deep house chicago london miami ibiza Amsterdam berlin paris love underground unity forever place house electro
True House/Electronica/Break Beat etc. Heads know how music is all about a feeling ...its about spreading love and joy...if you don't understand the music or the people who listen to it...then move on..and when you find your joy/if you can find yourself ...come back and enjoy it with a loving spirit...
Guess his smelling senses were quite intense than tasting. Through smelling the orange juice, he concluded that there is already vodka inside and its quite strong. hahaha...im amazed you actually were watching the video LOL

Thanks for relisting the track list - Maya's set is very nice and smooth. The audience except for host are a dry bunch; mostly motionless. House is feelin' kitty cats, go get some SOUL and dance! Big up the Boiler Room tv crew.

It pains me how so-called DJs and critics who have NEVER probably been invited to a Boiler Room, dont have any referenced success, have a whole lot of lip service.Blah, blah, blah, and more blah, and talk is still cheap. How about all the critics shut up that noise and just do better?Let's try that.CDs and vinyl are still better options sonically than MP3s,period,and that's a documented fact, especially since MP3s and most digital formats are compressed.Anyway,I have used Serato and like it because it means no more carrying crates of vinyl around.Vinyl is difficult to store unless you have lots of space, temperature control against extremes, and it got hard to transport because of space and weight issues at airports) plus they got stolen). It's good to have a basic knowledge of analog gear, using records, and such,in case the digital stuff goes down or is not available. What if someone Like Mancuso wants you to spin on his set with vinyl? What would you do,make excuses and not be able to spin?duh...Back to the subject...She keeps the beat and some of the tracks have a bit of spice. She also mixes out often, instead of standing there, fist pumping and trying to dance for 6 minutes at a clip.
