@@jlmussi All good man! I've used Maya on and off since it was Alias Power Animator (yeah I'm old) but never got serious about modelling properly. Your vids have helped a lot. Really appreciate it.
a short cut trick i found for snap step when rotate, scale and moving is to hold W/E/R, then hold v at the same time and then left mouse click and it will present you with a pie menu. for moving its snap then > discrete move. for rotate its discrete rotate. for scale its snap scale.
do you discuss anything about non-manifold shape issues? that frustrates my students quite a lot. i show them cleanup, and what non-manifold means and help them to do good habits which usually reduces the amount of non-manifold shapes, but they still will happen no matter what experience level.
