This truly brought me the tears even though I seen this story over and over with different individuals who were released from prison. The pain comes from knowing that prosecutors can just not bring up the evidence and it always happens to black men. Where's the story about the Justice department prosecuting DA's or prosecutors who hide the evidence from the defense that will set someone free. This has happened hundreds of times and it will continue to happen because there are no consequences to wrong a black person but there is a consequences just for being black in this story as a reminder so I won't forget and that means I have the responsibility to make sure my child understands and will not forget

I remember seeing news clips about her outside involvement over the years, but this summary of it all gave me chills when I happened to see this doing cardio at the gym. “Moore” seems like a prophetic name for someone who has goes above and beyond like she has with plans only to do more in the future.

Please pray for my son to find help too.. please. He was 23 when he was given 63yrs for protecting his life from 3 white men that jumped him for being with a white woman. Though there was evidence that these men belonged to the Aryan nation brotherhood and witnesses that said my son had no choice but to protect himself ( he shot one of the men that jumped him) the judge found him guilty of manslaughter and gave him 63 years..he’s done 22yrs. He’s earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology. And though he’s lost his favorite uncle and his grandma that loved him so very much while incarcerated he’s been a model prisoner all these years. He still has 6.5 years to go! Please please help me pray that someone like Maya will help him too..

Would love your support bringing Damon Simon home. I made a petition for him on change . Org he is a great man sentenced to way too many years (50 years) for a self defense case. This story brought tears to my eyes bc it hit so close to home with Damon and I. Not sure how, but if possible please help, pray, share, sign the petition, anything.
