Last week end -Maya was a special guest for one of her favourite band TESTAMENT in Las Vegas - She was amazing performing on stage and the crowd went wild❤

She was gifted the Dave Mustaine model (ironic it is) form the head of Jackson. She recently joined Testament on stage to play a song with them. Worth a look. She's something once in a lifetime. 🤘🏼

I can see you're bewildered !! I was too along with millions of people ! She started at 6 and her first audition she did a papa roach number that was awesome too! I fell in love with how well she plays ! And i'm not a metal fan as such but i welcome every genre ! When i saw Maya Neelakantan playing ....she had me at first note ! She's a living phenom!!!

I agree with everything you said about her performance - she is a supertalent, and I wish her the greatest success when she's fronting her own bands. She was 10 when she auditioned. She is 11 now. She does not need AGT at all. The metal community knows who she is ... the best metal guitarists know who she is .. AGT simply a blip as she grows into fame

With her family background I feel that she is very spiritual. One of the concept in Spirituality is the "Calmness" in doing whatever you do that involves high energy, adventure, and etc.

Go to her page she has a lot of videos posted including meeting with several metal groups & jamming with them. BTW - last week she performed on stage in a live show in las Vegas with Testament!

Pretty amazing at 10 yrs old we are being spoilt with the talented young guitarist we have coming through these days another two to check out are Marcin Patrzalek an amazing acoustic player and Taj Farrant a 14 year old Australian Rock / Blues prodigy.
