EZ had every right to go off on Taza. Coco was a good friend of his and spoke many words of wisdom to EZ to help him out and He looked out for EZ as well. Makes all the more sense.
@@CharlieSheensTigerBlood even if he was tryna do what Bobby did, which would be lame and no amount of new members will fix the selfish damage Taza caused.
@@khalilsmith6812 you're not wrong. I never said he would succeed either. However hes most likely been around Alvarez for awhile. Everyone's beginning into Santo Padre happened from my knowledge in the wake of Jax Teller's departure. Meaning they were rolling with Alvarez but he didn't want to have so much power so he made the 3 king system. Why this is important? Everyone has a backstory pertaining to why and how they all got involved with eachother. Why is it that they all seemed new to the lifestyle regardless of the rank? This season was absolutely amazing. But next season we're gonna be pretty sad.
EZ isn’t a likeable character. His true motivation isn’t to help the club, his ego is just out of control. That was the difference between him and Jax.
1:13 I love how EZ is so pissed when he says "I don't give a fuck" that he doesn't even pronounce or modulate properly. The only audible gibberish sounds like "aon gi FFUCK". Small detail but I love the way he says it lmao
Taza is lucky he's even breathing after everything he did. He's the Juice of the Mayans. Honestly, I think even Juice would be ashamed of how much of a coward Taza is.
I think juice and taza are equally as bad By both of them lying and keep their mouth shuts, it cause a chain of unfortunate events Juice lying and not telling Jax the truth about Tara’s death caused them to go to war with the Chinese and august marks Taza choosing to kill Riz just to silence his history/beef with the VM and Palo cause a series of unfortunate events with santo padre Brothers on both sides died because of Juice and Taza lying and covering sh!t up
The difference is that Taza's actions followed from greed for revenge and Juice was blackmailed by the police. The blackmail was ridiculous, but you could see that he was very stressed about it. Taza let his friend die in cold blood, while Juice acted out of panic. I understand that the two traitors are compared but Juice didn't try to run away until his club finally wanted to kill him.
He's a lot worse than Juice. Ever after being stripped of his kutte, Juice went through hell for the sake of SAMCRO and allowed himself to be killed for SAMCRO'S benefit. Taza started a lot of shit and ran away from it all. A lot of people complain about people like Potter and Emily surviving the show, I'm most pissed Taza did, lol.
I'm all caught up on Mayans after finishing SOA and MAN, you can literally tell the difference between both clubs. SOA is a tightly knit club regardless of a few members making mistakes and the Clay/Gemma problem, but w Mayans it really seems like NO ONE are true brothers aside from a few side characters.
Also considering Kurt Sutter was kicked off his own project own from season 2 on....new writers, different character development...it's a good show, it's not SOA. There's wayyy more unlikable Mayans than there are Sons imo.... especially EZ.
@@DummyYEEEAAHHHHH in soa they were all ready to ride for each other and it seemed like they all grew up together so they’re really close. In mayans the only ones that are close are angel and ez and I feel like they really aint even close.
The only real ones on SOA were Chibs, Tig, and Opie while Angel, Gilly, and Hank were their Mayan counterparts. Everyone else was doing some shady shit to the club or someone in it. Both MCs are really no different from one another. Jax wanted to reinvent while EZ wanted to innovate. Jax and EZ both tried to change their clubs but sacrificed themselves for nothing in the end.
I feel like in season 5 taza is gonna do something that helps the club and everybody will probably start to love him again...and thats when Bishop will drop the bomb lol
I find the Juice and Taza comparisons interesting. Both did their fair share in betraying their club. Taza killed Riz, which I feel has been criminally overshadowed (but at the same time the only person who knows is Bishop if I’m not mistaken so I get it). Juice hid Tara’s murder from Jax AND he was gonna give up SAMCRO secrets to the Mayans to get to Mexico. Pick your poison I guess lol
It's easy to forget about Taza and riz bc they never did shit with then after a point. Now all hank does is cry occasionally, even bishop is a minor character
The fact that riz was never respected was well shown in this scene, they stripped him of his secretary role cuz of his “secret” tunnel and then after a member kills him to start a war that also started an internal war that same member not only didn’t get punished for it but is being allowed to leave the club after his transgressions, maybe the writers are interns or something cuz there was never a vote or a discussion about it, bishop never brought it up to the club? Holes in the plot man
EZ letting that flash go to his head Angel gonna give him that season 1 big brother ass whooping he gave him when he found out he made a deal with the Feds.
Don’t get it twisted, EZ didn’t put much of a fight that first time because he was feeling guilty and felt he betrayed his brother. If they were to fight now, EZ does a number on him. I like Angel but he doesn’t have that killer instinct EZ has right now, EZ would fuck him up.
I would say that Taza made a smart move going Nomad. Somewhat anyway. Because sooner or later Bishop was going to flip and tell the club the truth him. Because Taza didn't tell the Mayans the truth about Montez for so long that started the war with the Sons and the Internal war with the Mayans' Yuma, Stockton, Oakland etc. I would say that going nomad is a merciful punishment. He's being let off easy. He killed Riz, another member; he hid Montez's body when he clearly knew that Paolo killed him and left him on their doorstep and then lied about it; and not to mention his sexuality. Bishop wouldn't tell on him not because he's not a rat, but because he said it was a "misguided sense of loyalty" I'm guessing that's because Taza was Bishop's VP for so many years, he just couldn't bring himself to end him, and so keeping him at a distance took more restraint, even though Taza deserves (at least to the MC law/clause) a mayhem vote. Speaking of voting, I've barely seen any sort of democracy structure among them, sometimes I wonder, does Elgin James know what he's doing? As each episode goes by I am starting to dislike him more and more. There have only been three episodes so far that were actually good in this season.
As far as voting their MC is structured differently than the Sons. Seams like the leader calls the shots no matter what. Only voting I remember is when they patched in EZ. Maybe the new writers forgot about how Kurt did things.
@@Bebbenb isn't it against the bikers law? Last I checked they don't patch in homosexuals, pedophiles, snitches, nor any form of law enforcement. enforcement
@@Bebbenb it is in the biker world. One of the reasons anyway. And I know that I am not alone here, am tired of writers forcibly inserting LGBT characters in every show.
@@Bebbenb sorry, but no. Completely different. And it was 2 seasons ago where people forget that he killed Riz just to kill Paolo once and for all. But I disagree. Anything we watch on TV these days that is westernized. Is inserted with at least one gay character. So yes, it kind of is forced.
@@Bebbenb I never said it was worse. You did. I've watched all three seasons a few times over as well. And yes it is forced, and no its "every now and then" its almost all the time. The point you are missing that I was making are that the writers did something unnecessary and made Taza gay (or bi according to the actor) and it seems to center around this is because this initiated war with the sons. They couldn't have come up with something better? The LGBTQ population is significantly lower than you think.
@@MrHellsing76 you can start with apocalypto, new world, Riddick, cowboys and aliens, both sicarios, frontier, Longmire. Those are some of my favorites
@@MrRudyc85 I understand Taza has a part and responsibility in this, but EZ is too drawn to being a cutthroat. I mean Alvarez made his point with taking out SAMDINO but that's not enough for EZ
They are an ungrateful bunch, at this point Marcus should just hand over the charter to Bishop and retire from the club let them handle their own mess..
He lefted for a reason. Him and Apollo started the war because of their beef and history. Apollo killed Montez and put his body on property of santopadre for taza and he put montez in a barrel. Should of dumped his body else where for that girl to discover it.
tryna find out if raoul trujillo will be bacl for season 5 but cant find anything so from the looks of it seems like this storyline is all but over and if thats the case well everything that happened involving taza, riz, bishop & el palo will just get brushed under the rug and not be mentioned again in the final season 🤷🏻♂️
EZ isn’t getting popped until the series is at its end. It’s the same arc as Jax Teller. What started as a likable character turns into a monster on a path of destruction and self-destruction.
Taza doing the right thing but it will catch up to him for that bullshit in the past and Ez is cold as ice and Alvarez made one hell of a mistake giving EZ a level up! you need Bishop back in that Spot Ez is become a Maniac with no principles
Taza is really in the wrong I get why ez is pissed and he dosent even know the truth fr… taza started this whole fucking war by killing riz now you ganna run away? Bye bye
@@dakotafox7326 but different fates I thought ez end up the same way as Jax did but not this time cus he lost his ole lady cus of Gemma before he killed jury but ez on the uthr hand his x gaby died cus of him before killing not only canche as president of yuma but the 2nd king after Ramos n that sends dangerous messages
Yes. I like both Characters. Actually I love Jax and I’m not being biased but people need to stop comparing the two. Jax Teller was a very well written character and is easily one of the best tv protagonists of all-time. They have literally rushed Ezs character in this series and not only that but it’s been very predictable.
This is really for the best, I feel like in time he will tell Santo Padre the truth about Riz but for now he really needs to distance himself from all the carnage and get himself back into balance
@@marcelmiller7551 It baffles me that they made the main character of the show so unlikeable and they are kinda turning him into the villian. Jax became a monster but it happened as the show was reaching its end and it was done in a way that he knew what he was becoming so he was redeemable. This is just my opinion, some people may like what they are doing. However, my opinion is that the writing is baffling. It doesn't seem like he has earned anything and he is a horrible person, so who is going to be rooting for him?
@@Redsdelight not me. What I don't understand is why the Mayans didn't do a complete background search on Ez. I mean a convicted cop killer doing 25 to Life and out after 3 years that would raise eyebrows in real MCs
