I didn’t even realize that was Quinn at first. I only know to look for a 6’4, long haired, built like a jacked bison dude, with the studded leather bracelet. Quinn was always a straight one. Never Problematic. Always was one of the best ones.
This also shows that not all Mayans wanted war with Samcro. At the end of sons, their relationship was pretty solid. I really hope to see more of Alvarez at the end
It's all Santo Padre, not being the priority of the Mayans has made them bloodthirsty and reckless. EZ made things even worse when he patched in it wall all downhill for his charter
It's close to reality with gangs/clubs/organized crime. There's been plenty of truces, sure, but a lot of times they don't last very long. Another reality is internal beef that festers into a civil war and subsets splitting off.
I like how the son was gonna try and go after alveraz but Quinn told him to back like "no brother let him go. He's doing what we'd do if a brother got gunned down. Alveraz ain't the one we should worry about"
And it was stupid….they killed the mother charters Sgt at Arms and an OG….Chibs and Tig would never let that slide and especially after Montez…..SoA has so many more charters than Mayans MC it was just dumb and I can’t see Charming letting Isaac just run wild since one of the main ending arcs of SoA was Jax and Alvarez making a permanent truce…..then by season 3 they bring up Montez brings up Jax Teller and one Mayan goes who’s Jax Teller and another foes Who fucking cares…like really ?

@kdizzle901 Let's be honest now... the first 2 seasons of Mayans were great, then after Kurt Sutter left it really felt like you were watching something made by a college student studying film or something. God's honest truth... i actually said all that last year after the end of season 4 on the Mayans facebook page (i was literally the only one not just fanboying and saying how fantastic the show was) I was completely brutally honest in my 4 or 5 paragraph long rant about how the show had just become stupid and lazy with plot hole after plot hole and the laziest writing i'd seen in a long time and guess who was the only person who gave me a like? JD Pardo himself.

Diaz told Marcus not to get involved because what happens in the club is no longer his problem. Being voted out was probably the best thing. He has a family to watch over and a baby. Marcus is like an old soldier. Survived a hundred battles, lost a lot of brothers, and yet he survived. Its at this critical moment he believes the SOA Member and decides to say fuck it im done. Then goes home to burn his kutte. El Padrino wont be around to save Santo Padre. Like he said in the end of season 4. Im glad I dont have to watch it burn.
Man I don't know after this scene that Alvarez risking his life alone wanted to get revenge for Diaz, that last statement that he gave to SanPa, I think he have a plan to shutdown SanPa or somewhat...
Alverez was definitely the best leader of Mayans as he carried himself as a leader and Always looked for ways to prevent his people from getting hurt now EZ on the other hand acts on emotion and will most likely be the cause of their downfall
💯 Alvarez even had to help Samcro kill his son because his son failed to take out clay and Darby trying to prove to his dad he was capable of handling it. Samcro was coming one way or another and Alvarez took the least painful and bloodshed way even though it was his own blood.

The problem really came from Alvarez. The Mayans never should’ve got into working with the Cartel. Alvarez leaving creates a power vacuum and Bishop wasn’t right to lead the Mayans. But it’s too much internal beef now for the Mayans literary santo padre would have to basically be erased for things to be solid again.

It all worked untill Alvarez gave up his patch to become Galindos Consigliere. Implementing the 3 King System established an unstable structure that crumbled with its first challenge when 2 Kings chose money over borthers and turned against the 3rd King, Bishop. It would have been smarter if the Club itself voted for a new El Padrino in a fair election among all officers of the Mayans MC
Santo Padre is the poisonous charter. Don’t forget they targeted the Vatos Malditos which led to the Vatos retaliating leaving Riz wounded. They weren’t even planning on going to war but Taza killing Riz and making it seem like Riz was killed from the Vatos attack started all this madness we see now. Santo Padre should’ve been taken out at the start of season 4 but Alvarez came and saved them. I love Quinn’s line about Mayans kill each other more than the sons kill them. Season 5 was so disappointing
The fact Alvarez is more upset to know his own ( former ) charter killed his friend and fellow Mayan prez looked like it hurt him to his core and has just had enough...I hope he survives all this for his family an lets the charter destroy itself
That's why Quinn was telling the others to stand down and why he said he couldn't believe the Mayans kicked him out, even when they were enemies Charming respected Alvarez as a President and even more so when he did his best to emulate Jax and keep his promise

whats funny is if quinn knows ez killed happy, and diaz knew about, that means every mayan and sons charter on the west coast knows he did, im sure every MC from the bastards to iron war know about it too, ez is so blind by his hunger for power and winning this war that he cant see the wolf in the henhouse, im sure alot of key players this season are playing along with what ez is doing, and the real plan is to kill both him as well as isaac, with both of them gone, things can somewhat go back to normal in cali.

Alvarez showed more compassion for a member that killed Ibarra and set up EZ than when happy killed his son which set up. Even with Coco he didn't show anger like this.
