Wouldn't be the first time folks have underestimated Lee. He makes a career of surprising folks. The dude is one of a kind! Go Spencer!

I don’t think you can underestimate the effect of his injuries. He has been getting stronger month by month. Each tournament he looks healthier and in better condition. I expect the Spencer Lee we see in Paris will be better than we saw at last chance, which was better than what we saw at the Trials. Wishing him all the luck. It was painful to see 2020 get snatched away from him, and to see his International career put on hold for so long.

He does that head between the legs turn just like the brands that you don't see really anyone do that often... Because in order to defend you have to close your thighs/legs together but he just switches to a lace and gets 3 or more turns every time

No reason not to feel Confident. Have to respect Gold Medals, but Lee matches up very well with all those guys, especially Abakarov and Uguev.

I said it once and I’ll it again, Spencer lee is the Gervonta Davis of wrestling. Very tactical, smart, strong, and almost always gets the tech or pin.

These freestyle guys aren't ready for spencer's folkstyle prowess. Most likely to least likely to win a gold medal: aaron, spencer, snyder, dake, zain, parris. The spencer at the last chance looked like the spencer that I know. Olympic champion

Who has beaten Spencer?? Synder has lost repeatedly, Brooks barely beat several guys. He has an occasion close match, but he doesn't lose.....ever. He had never lost a Sr match and hasn't lost a freestyle match at his weight since he was 14. Dan Dennis admitted Spencer beat his ass in Rio when was 17.

Spencer will absolutely win Gold if he can stay humble. Lately, he's looked like the best 57k wrestler in the world. But, lack of humility kills focus and drive. He should never have lost to Ramos because Ramos isn't even in his league. But before the NCAA tournament, Spencer gave interviews in which he said he sometimes feels like more than mere human and was already speaking as if the natty was a done deal. Many people tried making his health an excuse. Maybe health had something to do with it but so did lack of humility and focus. If he takes care of that, he can go through the entire bracket like a buzz saw.

Aaron Brooks!? The Olympic Trials were handed to him by the refs! Brooks will not get away with the passivity at the Paris Games as he did at the Olympic Trials. I predict he'll be the first to get teched by passivity calls in an Olympic wrestling match. (2:14)
