Maybelline Superstay Full Coverage Foundation VS Fit Me Review || Best Drugstore Foundation?

The problem with mayballine foundations are the shades 🙄 they are Really dark and orange for me an a lot of others 🙈 but the quallity is really nice 💖

Emily--you asked us to share our shade comparisons to help each other, so here's mine. On the Fit Me, I wear Natural Beige 220 (both the Matte and the Dewy formulas.) After many trials and returns, I decided that to account for how much it oxidizes, my best match on the SuperStay is #128 Warm Nude. It's not perfect, but almost. Hope this helps some of your followers. (For reference, I'm MAC NC30, Estee Lauder "Rattan" 2W2, Physicians Form MW2, Dior Face & Body 3WO, L'oreal ProGlow 205)

Fit Me Matte and Poreless isn’t my favorite drugstore foundation but I remember liking how it looks on slightly dehydrated acne prone skin but I didn’t like that the coverage was a bit light and that it doesn’t look as “poreless” as it claims whereas my other foundations blur a little bit. For a natural coverage look that I know lasts a bit longer as far as shine, I usually jus use a tiny amount of the Wet n Wild Foundation. In both the Maybelline and Superstay, I’m shade 128 Warm Nude and I find both dry down a bit darker but don’t oxidize throughout the day. I still get shiny with the Superstay but the actual foundation itself and the coverage doesn’t move or melt off and I think it looks a little bit more life-like when the shine comes through a bit. Edit:looking back at it, the Superstay Warm Nude us actually not as good a match as Classic Ivory and I’m not usually Ivory in a foundation shade

I have dry/normal/dehydrated skin but love the Fit Me Matte & Poreless in Shade 118 and match it with the Sand concealer, which pair STUNNINGLY! I haven't tried the Dewy one yet, but mixing it with the Matte sounds great! It's my HG foundation now that Tarte Amazonian Clay Powder in Light Sand is gone. Looks and lasts like magic for me!! 10/10 ❤❤❤

I’m 110-112 in fit me matte and the dewy one , I prefer the dewy one for my dry skin plus the dewy one seems to be water proof

I'm in the middle of testing the SuperStay and love Matte & Poreless! I'm glad you said that about the shades. I bought the SS in the same shade (128) I wear in M&P but it was too dark. So I picked it up in 120 and it works better though it's not quite as yellow toned. Love that you compared the two! Really nice Emily!

I love the super stay foundation. I wasnt quite sure when I first applied it...it was quite orangey but that went away a couple minutes after I applied. I do touch up with powder at noon due to having really oily skin. But i do that with every foundation. It doesn't transfer to my clothing and i like that. It's a nice finish and doesn't leave me feeling cakey, which I hate.

if you applied your foundation by dabbing instead of dragging the beauty blender across your face your foundation would look a million times better.......

The fit me poreless one I just got and I LOVE IT. I was stuck in a rut and couldn't find a good foundation to save my life. I'm so glad I found something I really like!!

I love both the Matte+Poreless and the Superstay Foundations I own both in the shade 350 Coconut and I love the coverage it gives in both foundations! I'm an oily skin type of lady myself! I have to blot off oil and reapply powder too. But all in all it's okay

Fit Me Matte and Poreless is my favorite medium coverage. Catrice is my favorite full coverage- although the shades can't even be called a range holy hell it's FOUR- but it's supposedly a close dupe for Fenty. I stick with Catrice because they happen to have my shade and it's affordable. I would prefer to support Fenty, but it's outside my budget.

asian with combination to dry skin i think. the colour 128 for both fit me and superstay matches but fit me is slightly pinker than superstay so if youre asian too then superstay is a better colour match at least for me. i think im somewhere between mac nc25-30 for reference. i realise that fit me looks cakey on me and it does feel like im wearing foundation whereas superstay just looks flawless, lightweight and doesnt emphasize my pores at all. my face doesnt get oily on superstay too. superstay ftw. especially in humid environment.

I have tried both foundations, my shade is 120 for fit me matte+poreless and 10 ivory for superstay. Both foundations oxidise, and my face become so dark and orange so i recommend you to buy 1 or 2 shades lighter. Regardless superstay has full coverage but it is not long lasting and it breaks me out because my skin is oily, sensitive, and acne prone. On the other hand, fit me has light to medium coverage, not long lasting compared to superstay, but it doesn't break me out and feels light on my skin. You dont need to set it with powder as both foundations are matte to satin finish. (With fit me dewy you have to set it with powder). And both foundations also able to minimize the appearance of your pores.

I'm not sure if it's my phone settings or your camera or the product, your face became a orange toned after foundation.

The FitMe is my everyday foundation, I wear 102 Fair Porcelain, and its the srsly only drugstore one that actually is my shade without having to use a white mixer. I bought the Superstay in 102 too. I wore it only once so far. The Superstay was so much harder to blend in, so I just did sections at a time vs my normal dots all over and blend everything. It was OK, I think I needed more powder cos it started to separate A LOT on my nose and my smile lines. The sponge picked up the foundation when I was trying to put concealer on my forehead, nose, etc to highlight/add dimension to my face. It was annoying, but I just went over with the foundation sponge and it fixed that problem (which I don't have with the FitMe). It was super transfer proof which I LOVED cos the FitMe does. The Superstay didn't seem to oxidize too much/much at all, but maybe its bc its so light/has less pigment. I definitely need to wear it more tho. I have normal skin btw. My T-Zone gets kinda oily, but not too bad, and during the winter I use more moisturizer and then a SPF-primer, vs just a SPF-primer in the summer. For powder, I use the NYX HD loose-powder, which is straight up silica, so that might help if it did oxidize.

The Fit Me side looked more youthful to me. Either way, your beautiful.😊 I don’t wear foundation, for health reasons, but if I did, I would probably try the Fit Me foundation.

I love both of these now. The superstay I definitely have to really exfoliate and moisturize before I use it but it truly lasts all day

I grabbed the Superstay and it actually made me break out near the edges of my face. I thought maybe it was the new LUSH Let the Good Time's Roll exfoliator I started to use at that at the same time. The next day I used just the foundation and almost immediately more bumps appeared. So just a heads up to anyone who may have sensitive skin. I think the matte and poreless looks more natural and I've never had a problem with my skin using it. Thanks for doing this comparison!

I was waiting for your review on the Superstay! I have SUPER oily skin and the Fit Me Matte & Poreless looks like a nightmare on me. I think I'm gonna give the Superstay a try!

i have the fit me matt+poreless in 105 and the superstay in 03 true ivory its not the same colour because i have bought the fit me in summer and the superstay in winter sooo the dont match perfectly (fit me is alittle darker and orangier and the superstay more pink and lighter) maybe this helps anyone here .. good luck 😃

The superstay foundation feels so fairy on my skin even when I only apply a little bit it feels so heavy and because the colour range is so awful I always have to blend it all the way down my neck and behind my ears. It’s such a high maintenance/uncomfortable foundation, I always have to touch it up. The coverage is so great but there are so many cons to it, fit me is better because it makes you look luminous and doesn’t feel heavy on the skin. Maybelline has really good mascara, blush, bronzer and powder products but they need to work on perfecting their foundations.

I have tried the Fit me Matte and poreless but sadly it didn't work on my very dry skin. However the Fit me Dewy is my FAVORITE I am on like my 6 bottle. I am in the shade 110 porcelain but I wish it was more of a pink undertone instead of a yellow undertone. My other favorite drugstore foundation is the healthy elixir my CoverGirl but their lightest shade is so freakin dark but it stays all day on my skin.

Love the fit me foundation. It's been one of my favorites for years. I wasn't the biggest fan of the super stay. On my skin it blended out patchy and didn't set right. I recommend the better skin if anyone wants to try something similar to the super stay but didn't like the formula.

In my country the fit me is in a squeeze bottle, I have the shade 104 and it is so greasy and disappears on my skin after a few hours. I LOVE THE SUPERSTAY I have the shade 05 light beige and it’s perfect👌 lasts all day prefer it to my fenty foundation

I tried out the superstay foundation today I have dry and sensitive skin . But I love it . Ladies if you have dry skin simply use primer it makes it stay so much longer and it doesn’t move or transfer . I use hardcandy primer 12 hour it retails for $8 which is affordable . Loooveee ittt

I have tried the Maybelline fit me matte+ pore less foundation and it's my holy grail! My absolute favorite and I have sorta combo skin. Mostly oily though. I'm wondering if I should go for the superstay one as a winter foundation 🤔🤔

I have both and really like then. Fit me is my more everyday foundation and superstay is more of a night out. I have shade 112 in both.

You should try the CYO lifeproof foundation. I'm a combo in the winter gal and I've been amazed at the coverage while maintaining a natural finish. And it's $6 to boot!

I really like the Fit Me one, but I have a really strange experience with the color. I wear the shade 110 and it looks more pink on my hand, but on my face it looks straight up olive (which is good for me). That even stands true when compared to the shade 100. Anyone having a similar experience? Why do you think that is? Or am I just wearing the wrong color and not noticing it?

i recently bought the matte poreless, and its horrible. its coverage is similar to or worse than a bb cream, it like a tint. It definitely does not last long, the only reason i would recommend it is for oilllly as heck skin since its rlly drying

I think the left side can be use for day time & the right foundation for night time.

Knowing the undertones makes a difference, especially when the foundation oxidizes... The shade lower will be a different undertone, so pick accordingly. I'm normally 120, but it oxidizes so the lower # choices are either 118 or 115... Not 112, cuz then that's cool. 😬

Can you please review Maybelline Superstay Better Skin foundation?

I just recently tried the fit me matte & poreless. I agree with others that it doesn't last well, but it goes away Sooo evenly. I feel like I would rather have something that wears off evenly but quicker, then wears off in a weird patchy way but some parts last longer.

Both are my favorite foundations but I love how Superstay actually lasts longer for me. Been trying to figure out a good contour for my shade but both foundations are good.

I love the fit me matte & poreless! Here in Europe it comes in a squeezy tube, which is awesome. For lighter coverage days I like mixing my NYX total control drop foundation in with my primer. Love your eye look today!

Fit me is my holy grail from the drugstore and I just picked the Super Stay again bc my normal shade oxides too dark so I bumped down a shade and praying the color is better bc I really enjoy the coverage and finish on the Super Stay. *Edited to say my Fit Me shade is 112 and I just tried SuperStay in 110 and I think it’s going to be a match although it looks very light going on.

fit me is the only drugstore foundation that doesn't break me out! it doesn't get cakey on my dry skin nor wears off in patches after a long day!

Matte one made my skin flake off and the dewy one slides off my face so my blemishes always show at the end of the day I fully RECOMMEND superstar it is the best drugstore foundation for people that want to cover their blemishes and it not come off at the end of the day

I didn’t like the superstay at all! So patchy, and it just disappeared in hours.... but I like full coverage..colorstay works for me, so does Almay TLC(revlon owns Almay), and cover girl foundation 3in1. Love your reviews, Thanks Emily❤️

I have the super stay, but when I apply it- it dries up and doesn’t go anywhere :( i tried blending it with the brush and with a damp beauty blender but it literally just stay like a patch on my skin

I have tried the Maybelline Matte and poreless I loved it but it broke me out...I just stick with the Maybelline fit me concealer and Loreal True Match original love it...choose it over my high end stuff love how fast it applies and blends 😃😄

I love the Fit Me Matte foundation but after a school day (6 hours) it tends to turn really oily since I have really oily combo skin, it also doesn’t provide much coverage as much as the superstay. Tho, the superstay foundation tends to look quite cakey and breaks up on my skin after awhile? My pores also look really obvious. Or is that just me??

Which one is best for winter?

Would you say that it oxidizes or that it drys darker? I use the super stay and it does dry darker but once dried the colour doesn’t change throughout the day. The Fit me definitely oxidizes on me a turns more warm tone/orange as I go through the day.
