Black lines was such an incredible album. I love seeing artists challenge themselves to create a new sound. I have been such a big fan since the beginning.

Black lines blew my mind... I went through a lot during that time and ended up in jail for 5 months for vandalizing a train station one night when I got pissed off at my family for stupid reasons. I remember asking my dad to play "letting go" for me on the phone, and he did. It made my day in the weirdest way. The astronaut guy ❤

My favorite Mayday Parade song easily has to be Satelite! I really appreciate that little commentary at the start; as an aspiring musician starting up is very daunting but seeing at how big a risk these guys took motivates the hell out of me. Love you guys!

Talking about their second album. They mentioned a lot of issues with the writing and creative freedom. You can rly tell when you listen they're kind of out of their element. They did a good thing in going back to fearless

I actually don't think monsters felt like the last album at all, but that's just me. It felt like a progression and one that totally made sense. I mean Torment was totally different for example and not many of the songs felt too familiar to me. Felt fresh.

i super love monsters in the closet and black lines!!!! i hope you still write something that sounded like black lines for every once in awhile. i enjoyed it. even so, to summarize, *I LOVE ALL OF THEIR ALBUMS- I JUST LOVE MAYDAY PARADE* 🇵🇭🇵🇭

Black Lines is IT. So emotionally raw it was on a new level of Real. All time fave will always be You Be the Anchor bc that song was probably the spiritual awakening of my life but there are countless faves. Literally every album has a favorite 😭🖤

I can't pick one favorite song. To this day, Mayday's first few CDs are still my favorites. The beginning years, specifically through Anywhere But Here. Not sure why. The brand new songs from 2020 kind of remind me of original Mayday Parade music. Takes me back to the beginning again. I'm loving it. So grateful for this band and their incredible music, and all the memories associated with it. I love this band! Thank you for existing! 💞 🎶

Monsters is actually my favorite album by them. I get that they felt they just rehashed the self-titled, but while I loved that album, I think Monsters is to self-titled as Take off Your Pants and Jacket is to Enema of the State. They took the same core style but expanded on it and experimented with different sounds, and I think it's great. I also really like Anywhere but Here unlike most people it seems, so maybe I'm just too biased towards them to make a fair judgement.

Black Lines is one of my fave album they released. It shows the band's possible diversity, something I don't expect from them. Well, the cool thing about it is that when bands try new flavor of music, they usually go pop-ish. But MP, experimenting new flavor, means going aggressive or darker; Black Lines.

My favorite song is its hard to be religious when certain people are never incinerated by bolts of lightning! I love the black lines feel behind it all the anger the emotion behind the song!
