It’s undeniable how much Jason brought to this band. They were still good after, but there was something magical about that group of guys and this video proves it. There’s just alien musicians sometimes and he’s one of them. Rips at everything he does. Firing off guitar solos, stealing the show on vocals, writing the best parts IMO. Shame we didn’t get albums after Romantics with him onboard. Those albums would have been special
Agreed, to the point of where I even think that even Go Radio, while very good still isnt as good as this album was. There was something special with this for sure.
@@henintsoarazafimamonjy8679 he wrote 17 songs... the best ones (imo) are "you be the anchor..." "when I get home you're so dead" "Jamie all over" "I'd hate to be you..." and "if you wanted a song written about you..."
@@inhumANthropoid you forgot one man drinking games lol but fr Jason was the band. His solo stuff now is pretty good if you’ve listened to him recently..
Setlist: 0:00 Your Song 4:13 Walk on Water or Drown 7:39 Three Cheers for Five Years 13:11 One Man Drinking Games 17:49 When I Get Home, You're So Dead
When are ya’ll going to come back to chill out in Waukeenah, FL? Let me know, I would love to meet you guys and hear you jam out with Lloyd and Melanie!!! Isn't it a beautiful and peaceful place? I grew up with Lloyd, Melanie, Sharon, hell everyone in both families. Proud of you guys !!!❤️❤️❤️
I always liked Mayday Parade but this Mayday Parade with Jason it's other level!! I loved each minute of this video. Thank you so much for upload it!!!
Oh man this band has one of the most special and unique histories and deserve the world to know who they are! I mean at this point in the band technically had 4 really good singers well two great singers a super great singer and a very unique singer 😂 will always be one of my favorites just cause they were what showed me what two vocalists could do in this type of band and it inspired me to start several different bands! My friend and I even did a cover of miserable at best like 10 years ago 😂❤❤❤❤
Having watched Mayday Parade live many times in the past 7 years. The lead singer has become phenomenal over the years. The entire crowd sings along. It's an amazing concert experience
I can't believe the quality of this video... thank you so much for uploading this masterpiece. I just saw MP last night in San Francisco, and it made me wanna listen them even more ... and i stumbled across this video. This made my whole month.
Jason performed with them again?! The way it always should have been. I loved all the music that came after the split, but their stuff together was just built different.
For context: Derek got a black eye and a concussion on the first night of this tour, so that may be why he sounded off this night. Plus Jason is pure AWESOME!!
I don't follow Mayday all that much, but does Jason play with them a lot? I see so many videos of them together, they should just have him come back lmfao.
@@chillwinston1255 lol they dont, look at their self titled album which they make their iconic song "Stay" and from the ep Valdosta "Terrible Things" look how far they've been better even without Jason and they still keep on going. Go Radio is not even a successful band (Jason's band) like Mayday Parade right now
@@vanyamotionless9342 it’s not the same without him and you know it. Yes “they died and never recovered” is a huge overreaction but there is definitely a huge hole in the band without him
@@bazemore2454 agreed, obviously mayday have maintained well enough without him but i'm willing to bet if jason stayed they'd be as big as fall out boy, global warming would have ended and homelessness would be a thing of the past
Jason did the recording and to me they don't sound a like at all. Are you referencing other live performances or the miserable at best video where they awkwardly stuck Jake at his drum kit mouthing to Jason's voice?
