If you watch Derek while JASON is singing Jasons part... You can just tell he knows... And he knows everyone else knows. Mayday is still fantastic, but one thing Ive never heard anybody say is "the bass player that replaced Jason kicks ass, Id be pissed if Jason came back...". I know theres personal issues and stuff at this point, but I dont think they realize the impact that reuniting could have on peoples lives... Tales told by dead friends didnt just change my taste in music... It changed me.
I hate when people comment on RU-vid videos and hate on the people singing... Did you know that, honestly, as a musician... That's like THE BEST part of playing a live concert. Hearing someone sing YOUR SONG. Something YOU WROTE. It's a really exciting feeling and musicians love it. So, don't hate on the audience, they're the reason musicians make it out there
When i listen to Go Radio i think songs lack Derek's voice. When i listen to new Mayday, i think that songs lack Jason's vocals. Their voices were just perfect together. They united to tell a story I always want to hear.
I'm going to see them Tuesday. I can't wait for this moment. I cried watching the video so I know I'll cry at the show. Jason is the reason I bought a ticket.
Well Jake wrote Three Cheers for Five years. And Derek wrote Champagne for Celebrating :). Thats what i know. It's cool still i didnt know Derek co wrote with Jason At You be the anchor :D
I hate how Jason is putting different harmonies and tunes in the song it's annoying but the crown is on key but I still love him and everyone saying " we can't hear Jason " stfu!!! If u wanted to hear jst them singing go listen to the studio version cause i dont think ur gonna fins a video with NO one singing
@BooksForever95 no, he's backing up. thats back up vocals man. when you do backup you should higher your notes or lower it than the leading vocals. so it would sound nice and to create good harmony :D
apparently jason left because he never got any credit for writing. I mean, its pretty obvious he had a huge hand in lesson in romantics based on the lyrical quality of anywhere but here....

@SuperNerd528 I agree so much, I love Mayday Parade, and I love Go Radio, but when Jason and Derek sing together, it is just so good. Mayday Parade would be the same again with Jason.
i love it when the crowd overpowers and sings! i don't get why people don't like it, i know that you wanna hear them sing but it's so awkward when the crowd is silent or dead
