there once was a girl I was madly in love with and we always hung out and had the biggest fun, we actually still Do, and I always played her songs on ym guitar and then one day told her what I feel and she said she doesn't feel the same but I'm more important to her then most other people on earth and she doesn't wanna lose me. I have seen Mayday Parade live 4 times over the years and found this when it was new. I like to come back to it when I am having a hard time or just feeling nostalgic. Absolute favorite Band and absolutely a top 5 of theirs. This video is 16 years old which means i found it when i was 15. Went to my first show ever at 16 in 2007/2008? Mayday Parade, Pierce The Veil, As Cities Burn, and Emery at The Underground in Cincinnati Ohio. Will NEVER forget!

You guys have no idea how much I love your songs. This is one of my favorites. But I'm also a huge fan of Jamie All Over and If You Wanted a Song Written About You, All You Had to Do Was Ask. poor derrick. jason leaving must be really hard on hi. now he has to sing both parts. and jason's voice really added a lot of the band's pizazz and emotion inside the songs.

@danielspital yeah the other lead singer jason lancaster left right after they recorded this album so the drummer jake had to take over his part. and he left because he didnt feel like he was getting enough credit so he started his own band go radio

Quite a few people who haven't been trained as singers (and a fair few who have) do it in live performances. I understand that, especially in the context of concerts, where it can be hard to hear yourself and therefore keep in tune. It's very jarring, though - you know which note you're expecting, and when you hear something that's very slightly different, it will register as wrong.

...Do you actually know what pitch is, sheldonwilcox? I do not mean that notes were themselves wrong; I meant that they aimed for certain notes and did not necessarily hit them. That isn't a song sounding different; that's the pitch being off. I should probably know - I used to be a music student.

umm, no. when he left go radio didn't exist yet. plus as far as i know, he didn't leave because, well there was another band. he left because the rest of mayday parade was.. kinda pushing him off. as in.. well he wrote the songs, though on lots of recordings dereck sang basicly everything, exept for sometimes the bridge or chorus

hmm yeah i wouldn't call it 'better' but jeremy's voice isn't made for this kind of songs yeah.. i know, i mean singing and playing guitar or bass isn't that hard especially cuz jeremy just plays ground-notes (wish he did more)
