Wow you flew in from London & New York wowaweewah for a sunshine supporting once a year trip to see a match?! Iv been standing in the blistering cold on Sheeffry hills, shouting my heart out from the top of Croagh Patrick, I even jumped from Downpatrick head in Ballycastle to get my mitts on a ticket. Supporting the boys all season long in the rain, snow & rain & drizzle & more rain & there ye are two bucks from a land far far away swooping in like Dean Rock & shattering my dreams. Exactly when you pay for a ticket for a GAA match you are paying for the development of pitches development coaches clubhouses hurleys stadiums physios defibrilators and all thats involved in keeping the sport going.Not saying all the money is well used or gets to the grass roots ,but most of it does.
