in america its common to replace ingredients in box cakes with mayonnaise! it makes the cake more moist, and you cant taste the mayo at all. ive had it before and its pretty good! i dont know exactly why people do it still, instead of just changing the ratio of eggs + oil, but i guess you can count on us americans to find an efficent (lazy) way to add both ingredients at once 💀
sorry if this doesn't translate to your language right! you need to emulsify the mayonnaise to get it to that consistency. the next time you make it from scratch, try combining the vinegar, water, and eggs first, then add the oil over time, mixing occasionally. your issue is that you may have added too much oil before it started emulsifying. if that happens again, add a few teaspoons of boiling hot water to try and get it to emulsify. good luck! you can do this!! 🤞🤞✨⭐
