Mayor, Detroit Economic Growth Corporation invests $1M+ in entrepreneurs, adds violence intervention 

WHAT: Press conference and award ceremony for Motor City Match's Round 27 cash grant recipients. Over $1 million in grants will be presented to 16 Detroit small businesses to open new storefronts across the city.
The new Community Violence Intervention (CVI) track, stemming from Detroit's Shotstoppers program, will announce its first awardees. This track supports entrepreneurs focused on positive community impact.
In Round 27, 95% are minority-owned businesses; 41% are women-owned businesses; and 84% are businesses owned by Detroit residents.
