Had such a good time working on this show!! Hands down one of the best shows I ever got to work on! From the crew to the cast, everyone was so nice and it was such a breeze working with them! Can’t wait to start filming season two! Not to mention Jeremy Renner is cool people! Smoke breaks with him were a blast and he is such a genuine chill dude! 😄
@@kornterax I’m a grip, we are camera support equipment technicians in the filmmaking and video production industries. I pretty much rig lighting and break down the script and work out with the DoP (Cinematographer), and figure out what equipment will be needed to support the cameras for each scene they film. I work out here in Canada where a lot of American movies/series are filmed.
So rotten tomatoes have rated this at 29%. Probably because it's politically incorrect, not woke and diverse and contains offensive language. Yeah, I'm definitely watching this series!
Nowadays, TV shows have a much bigger budget than before, so the quality of the production has become much better, some TV shows their season budget can be as big as some blockbuster movies. For example the new Lord of the Rings tv show. I think Game of Thrones was the show that changed the budget and quality of tv shows.
@@williambryan5188 I know how it's spelled. It was simply a typo. Ffs You were so disturbed by that one incorrect letter that you just HAD to tell me I was wrong?
I worked on this show, and it being my first production it was really neat seeing and walking through everything being built step by step. Seeing it on TV it was amazing! I’m happy to have been apart of this cool show! =D
It was filmed in my city, we drove by the set everyday, and by my house was Base Camp where they parked all the police cars, ambulances, and, my kids favorite, the SWAT truck. So cool!
I miss Jeremy to do a movie or series like this. The Town, Dahmer, Kill The Messenger, 28 Weeks Later, Arrival, Wind River. He's a natural born thriller charmer.
By far, one of the most intense shows I've seen in a long time! Great mixture of slow burn and short bursts of pure rawness. Loved Season 1 and am looking forward to the next ones!
Haven't checked this out yet but is it meant to be a grey area about whether Renner's character is a good guy or not?? Just saw the teaser for Season 2 - think I might be keeping Paramount subscription after Yellowstone is over to check this out.
Not only Renner but Taylor Sheridan (the screenwriter and director for Wind River) is on that. This is one of my favourite movies of all time so i was ecstatic when i learned those two are working together on a show.
@@Mr9mann Yeah that was just okay. Haven't seen Without Remorse yet but it seems that was pretty mediocre too. Now Wind River on the other hand, THAT was good.
@@larryburks592 That sucks. I'm probably still going to watch it but I'm surprised such a talented guy could make such a bad movie. I guess everyone puts out a stinker once in a while.
Holy shit the pedigree on this series is amazing. Taylor Sheridan of "Hell or High Water", "Sicario", "Wind River" and Antoine Fuqua of "Training Day". Some of the best, grittiest films ever made. This will be something.
Kyle Chandler’s been working a long time, it seems. Always bringing a quiet expert performance to everything he does. Always playing such believable characters who possess a certain restraint.
They actually filmed this in the Kingston pen, most of the show was filmed all around Ontario, in Toronto, Hamilton, Burlington and Kingston. Pretty neat.
First time I saw him was on Angel. Didn’t even remember him being on that show until I watched it again years later, well after The Avengers. Wasn’t a bad psycho on there either.
1:29 OH MY GOD. Such a short clip, but that is Pete Mickens(actor is James Jordan) who also played in Wind River with Jeremy! If ya'll don't remember, he was the dude from the movie who initially started the interaction with Bernthal and his girlfriend.
Kyle Chandler and Renner are both FANTASTIC actors. Kyle Chandler DEFINITELY doesn't get the credit he deserves but thankfully, the creator of this show paired two great actors together and if they have good chemistry working together, this show could have us on the edge of our seat. Certainly looks intense.
AAA YAS YAS I've been waiting for this ever since they cast Jeremy in this Taylor Sheridan piece. They're amazing together. If you haven't seen wind river you HAVE to
@@pzpinkslip123 no that was when we started filming season 2 when I wrote that. When haven’t been notified yet about season 3. Depending how good this season 2 does, we will now in about 2-3 months.
Never thought, that I got this feelings again watching a series. It's like Prison Break and Banshee combined. The season finale was the most intense Episode I watched since years. ⭐⭐⭐
Man that scene where he crashes through the fence and pops a flashbang on the gangbangers in the second episode was next level . Bourne esq style right there
He is hey. I can’t get enough of Taylor Sheridan right now. ‘1883m was some of the best writing (and acting, cinematography ect) i’ve ever seen. If y’all havnt seen it you must.
Good to see Jeremy Renner get a role other than Hawkeye. Now he finally gets to explore other movies and stories, all the while expanding his acting range
Taylor Sheridan is pumping up the content on Paramount. Jeremy Renner, Kyle Chandler, Diane Wiest, Jennifer Connelley and Antoine Fuqua. Shoot. I am here for it all. Please Mr. Sheridan. At least 12 episode. These 8 episode series work my nerves.
Taylor Sheridan is killing it. Can’t believe HBO or Netflix didn’t sweep this guy up before he headed to paramount. It’s like he’s too good for paramount but good for them.
I recognise that prison, KP, Kingston Penitentiary. I grew up in the same neighborhood. There's a bar called the Portsmouth Tavern just down the street from the prison. The bartender there for 45 years was named Chuck Norris. No lie, that's his name
I absolutely loved this show. The first half felt like a slow burn, but after chapter 6/7, things start to escalate to a much bigger scale. One of the most savage jail riots i saw on TV. I absolutely recommend this series.
Damn the production value is off the hook!! Definitely watching this. Anyone know if it’s one episode per week? Or are they releasing the whole season in one go?
I despise the fact that even though they can put out an entire season at once for people to watch at their own speed they all reverted back to the cable tv model of one episode a week except for Netflix. If Netflix ever steps away from the option to bingewatch i am cancelling my subscription and going back to torrents.
@@garymurphy36 yes, but that's because Better Call Saul is not a Netflix show originally. So what happens is it airs first on the original network and Netflix can show it a week later. That i can accept because it is the best Netflix can possibly do with a brand new episode from another network.
The main detective (Hugh Dillon) sounded so familiar in this show. I realized he voice acted Nick in Left 4 Dead 2. hahaha now it's just funny hearing him.
Really wanted to see Renner kind of talent to be prominent after seeing his charachter too underrated in avengers, and even hawkeye series isnt about him either
So happy for Renner. He can totally carry a movie on his own. Myself and so many ppl I know want him in more movies. Hollywood, hope you are listening!
I just started watching this. A little confusing start maybe, but it seems good. Difficult to understand who is who and what they do, etc. Maybe I'm stupid
Everybody’s going on about Jeremy Renner but I’ m here for Kyle Chandler. Everything he’s starred in has been great t.v. Homefront, Early Edition, Friday Night Lights, that one episode of Grey’s Anatomy where he goes KA-BOOM!
Im here for sheridan mainly. I didnt know this chandler guy before (i dont watch a lot of movies or shows, im more of a book person). But, you know, when i saw him in this trailer, i instantly fell in love, which is a rare occurrence.
After watching a few Taylor Sheridan series, I'm fully convinced he can't write dialogue. Well, he can copy it, but not create it. The lines are just reused dialogue from every drama over the last 40 years.
The part of the bearer bonds got me laughing my @§§ off because those were banned in the USA in 1982, and those issued after 1982 have long pass their maturity date.
just finished season two WOOW what a show hands down best ive seen beats SOA walking breaking all day long 😎😎tulsa kings been great so far but this show OMG 😍😍
