​​​​@@maureenreagan9544I think the term beast was just meant as a large animal, beast can just mean very large. And saying "noble beasts", noble means gentle and elegant (that is an elegant elephant, lol). I do understand your comment in the sense that the term beast has been used to mean a vile temperamental creature, particularly in sci-fi folklore types of movies or stories. But in this case, I think noble beasts was meant as gentle giants. These sanctuary elephants are gentle giants, they are very gentle and friendly once in an environment where they trust the staff there and are treated nicely by them. Thank God for these sanctuaries, they are wonderful places for these elephants. And they do seem to love music. They were even dancing to it. I think elephants can hear music in the sense that we can.
