People don't seem to understand that this fight was entertaining ONLY because Floyd allowed it to be. He clearly said before the fight and after that he would stand right in there and fight. Not much of the defensive tactics we've seen him do against career boxers. People that are saying McGregor really did something are only fooling themselves. No shame for Connor though, he definitely cashed out.

Floyds toughness is underrated. He took some big shots early. And fought unbothered.

Floyd is such a smart guy, as a huge Conor fan, I have so much respect for him. I can sit and listen to him talking all day, simply the GOAT.

I was rooting for mcgregor but after watching that fight, it was clear that he was outmatched from beginning to end. Floyd is a world class technical boxer, and Mcgregor couldn't get anything done in the ring. I thought it was a great fight, and I have nothing but respect for both fighters, but wow am I impressed by Floyd's skills and the fact that he put a show on for everyone.

i am connor's fan, I knew he can not beat Floyd not to mention to knock him out, but i am proud of him. he's willing to try, to challenge himself and break his limit, he fought like man and lost like man. he's my role model.

Shut up with your excuses especially if you claim before fight that you will finish the opponent in 4 rounds because the opponent is old and can't keep up. EDIT: No hate against Conor!! After beating 49 people and not losing a single fight, beating number 50 was probably like taking candy from a baby. The mental pressure of it all was probably the hardest part but he proved everyone wrong. GO MAYWEATHER!!!

As a Conor fan, I'm really happy; Conor fought the undefeated GOAT with a whopping 0-0 record and lasted 10 rounds, not only that but he also won 3 rounds and arguably 4. Floyd remained undefeated and broke a record, really proved he's simply the GOAT. Both made money, both are happy, both are respectful to each other; A true Boxing/MMA fan will know to appriciate and respect both warriors.

It was really good show, historical moment!!! That was amazing. I really enjoyed.

*What people don’t realize is Conor is not a good boxer. No disrespect he’s decent and went 10 rounds with the best but Floyd will win no matter what. Conor is only the best at boxing when he mixes it with other styles of fighting. You can see in some of his fights were he would usually throw kicks to the body and hurt his opponent then pick him apart with his boxing. I believe Conor could beat all boxers that way because they wouldn’t know what it feels like to get leg kicked or kicks to the stomach when conor is so far away that they can’t reach them and once their hurt then he can box*

Easy to go to the head when Conor doesn't know how to defend it, just look what happened when he faced Nate Diaz, blood was everywhere. While Floyd just boxed him in the first rounds it was all even. Same with Joshua Klitchko, while the boxed all seemed even, then Joshua just went Mike Tyson style and knocked the old man down. The craziest thing was that Conor got tired so fast, lot of wasted energy as he said. Puts some things in perspective, he said a couple weeks ago that Lomachenko looked slow and tired against Marriaga, Conor looked gased after 4 rounds. That surprised me the most.

Although I'd like to say that Connor held it for 10 rounds, I have to agree that Floyd was basically playing with him. He knew he was gonna win but because of the amount of time it has taken for this fight to become reality, it would've been disappointing if it lasted 2 rounds.

A lot of MMA fans claim that Mayweather would be destroyed in MMA fights. Of course, it is off topic. Mayweather has never claimed that he could beat MMA fighters in MMA. I believe from the start Floyd would win.. McGregor's lack of stamina has worried him in previous fights. although I think the ref pulled it too early I still think the result was inevitable... My concerns about this fight is all the pundits and people who watched the fight said it was even maybe Connor leading the fight by only one round but apparently two of the judges had mark the fight 8:1 against McGregor you have to wonder why they are so far off the mark

Conor put on a good fight and now he can go back and dominate MMA, actually not even that mad. Floyd did his thing, but Conor went 10 rounds and won 4-5 of them. Floyd would of won the rest and got a decision if it went 12. Imo though, those judges scorecards were ridiculous, the announcers had it right 85-86 Floyd. Not 81-89 that shit was dumb.
