I was there for 2 years in the army and loved the culture and thought it was one of the most beautiful places I had ever been. Spent time in Kunduz , Farah and Herat. Would love to travel as a tourist though. Especially in the Wakhan Corridor Nature Refuge
So you joined the army to defend your country and instead you travel to an other part of the world to mess up lives of and even kill innocent people. Shame on you.

I was 2 times in Afghanistan. In 1975 passing trough from India to Iran. In 1976 I went back and travelled inside Afghanistan. With an Italian guy we bought 2 horses and saddles en stuff and went down from Qunduz inside the Panshir valley to Pul-I-Chumri and up to Mazar-I-Sharif. I've been in a lot of countries but Afghanistan is what I remember & liked the best. The people, the mountains, the the dessert.
Many aspects of latino culture are similar to Afghan culture even if they are halfway around the world. Mainly how they are close to their families & value them. Even with distant relatives.

Yeah, I think tourism often does more for "world peace" than any army could. When we see people from other parts of the world we realize we aren't all that different and don't need to kill each other.

For those who are saying that the masque can’t be that old are wrong. Yes Islam came to us 1,400 years ago. But that mosque was probably a Zoroastrian worshiping place before Islam.
no matter how you put it, that building is nowhere near 5.000 years old. if it was build in the day 1 of islam it would be 1.400 years old. if it was a zoroastrian temple before that you don't count the building as tha old because the previous building no longer exists. and even if we take that into consideration it's still not 5000 years old. so the answer is simply incorrect.

@@wahidamiri3035 the modern language and educated people speaks only farsi darri . Even if you read the history of afghan/pashtun leaders . They were spoke farsi but there own language were pashto . And now in modern afghanistan to the western side and exist to the kabul city the 20 percent of pashtun only speaks farsi or darri . Even the pashtun donnot follow there own traditions or culture . The modern educated pashtun speaks farsi or darri language ... and also if you study the muslims history in asia . The muslim leaders were only spoked in farsi languages because farsi or darri is too easiy language to learn and too easy to speak and too easy to understand thats why .
