I was in Mazatlan a few years ago. I stayed at an Airbnb right across the street from where your place.. It's a beautiful neighborhood. Great views of the city.. The downtown area is beautiful. Mazatlan is a very Mexican town.. very safe city.... Recommended la Paz... Isla mujeres is must also... saludos desde Anaheim California 👍.
Wonderful! I felt the same about going to Mazatlan. PV was my first Mexico experience which I thought there could be nothing better but I've gone back to Mazatlan 3x and enjoyed the food & people so much. My favorite was buying fresh shrimp off the boat from "the shrimp lady" at the Market and taking a water taxi over to a little island and eating at a family owned restaurant (of course lol) enjoying the poo-poo platter of all kinds of fish and cerveza's. I can't remember the name of the restaurant but it was the father's name??? Anyhow, great memories. I leave for PV in 2wks. Send in other recommendations other than what you've already provided in your great videos. ❤❤❤
I love that you enjoyed Mazatlan too! I’ll message you with some more places we loved in PV. So excited for your trip coming up. You’ll have to tell me what you did when you get back! ❤️
Great video guys. Im going to sell my home in PV where I'm a snowbird and move to mazatlan. For the beach and malecon. I like long walks on beach when tide out at sunset when tide out. When tide in at sunset the malecon will be the place for those walks. The only place to get a long walk in PV is Nuevo when tide out. PV beach is all broken up so no long walks. Thanks again
That’s exciting to hear! You can definitely get those long beach walks in Mazatlan! We walked the malecon almost every night! Thank you so much for watching!
I live in Mazatlan and love it! October-May are my favorite months. Glad to see you guys enjoyed it. There’s lots of great restaurants off of the malecón that are excellent and cheaper since the city has around 700k people.
Thanks for sharing your monthly costs while in Mazatlan. I grew up traveling through and also staying for a week or two in Mazatlan during the 60's & 70's. Our family loved everything about it then. My wife and I were there in the Spring of 2022 for two weeks after being in La Paz Baja Ca. Sur for 2 1/2 months. While in Mazatlan we ate at small restaurants in Centro, on the Malecon and at street stands wherever & whenever we got hungry. We love Mazatlán for it's local flavor & as in la Paz, the Mazatlecos are the best people ever. Comparing La Paz to Mazatlán as far as cost, La Paz is less expensive it seems. Our 2 bedroom 2 1/2 bath 1,200 sq. ftt. Condo two blocks from the Malecon was $950 including electricity, water, cable & parking per month. We always use a local rental agency wherever we go. The small restaurants with incredible food in both cities are close in cost. We cooked 75% of our meals and purchased our Tequila & Rum at local Licores Tienda. We were in La Paz this winter & Spring for Carnival. Next year it will be Mazatlan.
Hi! Thank you for watching our videos! I know that the AirBnB that we stayed in was for sale when we were staying there. It was listed for around 200k USD. There were at least a dozen new condo buildings being built right on the water. I’m sure that price would be a bit lower is you purchased a place off the water. If you have any other questions, please let me know. Thanks again.
Thanks for all the info guys! Mazatlan looks amazing. We've never even considered going there until now :) Also, we could use a shower like that right now 🤣 We're banging our shoulders against the shower doors here in Italy haha - PS: it seems like brunch would be a great idea for our future double date! 😎
I bet G is struggling in the tiny shower! 🤣 Mazatlan was so beautiful! It was such an unexpected surprise! We honestly can’t wait for our paths to cross! We absolutely should brunch hard! ❤️ 😆
We just came back from Mazatlan and fell in love! We’re dreaming and looking at apartments there for the future as a beach apt vacay home for the summers! This video gave me some more perspective on living there long term.
This is so great to hear! We fell in love with Mazatlan also. They are building so many new apartment/condo buildings so I’m sure you will find the perfect one. Thank you so much for watching our videos and for the kind words! If you have any other questions about Mazatlan, please let us know. We would be happy to help if we can.
Hello again, what are the months you traveled to Puerto Vallarta and Mazatlan? Peak season or off peak thanks again, I really enjoyed watching your videos. Cheers, Robert
Hi Robert! We were in PV in July and in Mazatlan August and September. Those months are the off season for both locations. Cheaper prices during those months but it’s also quite warm! Thanks for watching!
Our condo is way out on Cerritos and your apt is in the absolute best spot for pretty much everything everything and the balcony at night you can probably see all our fireworks along the beach. I always get my pedicures down the street from you for $12.50 We also have a house on Stone Island and the ferry is only fifty cents. I use the bus system but have used the Pulmonias.
The views from our balcony were amazing. There is nothing quite like a Mazatlan sunset! It sounds like you definitely frequent Mazatlan. We just absolutely fell in love with that area. Thank you so much for watching our video!
Omg I’m looking for an air bb since I’m leaving tomorrow by vip buses from Phoenix direct to Mazatlan n still don’t know where to book my stay there. Thanks for this video
There is an airport just outside the city of Mazatlan. We flew from PV to Mazatlan! Very easy to get to and from the airport. The taxi had a set cost of 450 pesos each way. Very convenient!
There are so many doggies around Mazatlan! Many dog friendly places. Have a wonderful time and if you have any other questions, let us know and we will do our best to help out. Safe travels and thanks for watching!
